Description

The heavyweight champion of sweatshirts is made of 13-ounce, 75% cotton/25% polyester fabric and has a Rain Defender durable water-repellent finish. The zip-mock collar has an 8-inch antique-finish brass zipper. It is designed with spandex-reinforced rib-knit cuffs and waistband to keep the cold out. There's an attached three-piece jersey-lined hood with draw cord and front hand-warmer pocket. The Carhartt logo is embroidered on the front left pocket.

Super versatile, great everyday pullover. I’ve worn it now for about a week and have received multiple compliments. An employee at a store I was at asked me where I got it from yesterday (he wanted to get one lol). It has a nice heavyweight feel to it. I am in Philly and some of the street produce these wind tunnels that do cut through this. It is cotton so if it’s really windy you’d probably want to layer with something else. It’s definitely a relaxed fit. I really like the length of the sleeves, I never feel like they’ll ride up or anything. So far I’ve washed and dried it once and haven’t seen any shrinkage or pilling. This is a great sweatshirt, you can definitely size down but I didn't for my son because he can wear it over a lighter sweatshirt. This piece of clothing is very well made and has weight to it. I'm definitely going to purchase another color.

I absolutely love this hoodie. It’s warm, dry, blocks the wind, comfortable and looks great. The mock neck is something that sets it apart from every other hoodie on the planet. Baerskin, Brunt, no one is close. I usually get large, which is kind of too big to put a vest over it, so I went medium. It fits perfectly so long as it doesn’t shrink too much. Given my experience I doubt it will too much. (I’m 5-08 185lbs.) But, and here’s the but, I wish it was available as a full zip. C’mon Carhartt make this mock neck goodness in a full zip. There’s no telling what I’d pay for that. I have a full zip rain defender with a mock neck, no hood tho. Also, I wish it had the inner pouch on both sides, not just the right. And if you added zippers to the pockets you would eclipse all other outer wear there is, even tho it already does. I give it 5 stars, but a few adjustments and it’d be 6 stars. ... show more

Super comfy hoodie, size fit perfectly. Just like my carhatt rain jacket the outside beads water. The fabric feels durable so it should last awhile.

I bought his normal size medium and he is swimming in it - will be perfect for hunting season though with a few layers under it.
