  • The excellent product I remember!
Size: 36W x 32L Color: Black
I haven't owned a pair of Carhartt jeans in over 15 years, closer to 20 as the last time I had them I was working as a carpenter. I now run a welding/fabricating/mechanic/maintenance operation on a fleet of car haulers, so I've been in the market for work wear that has very high demand set on it. After reading some of the lower reviews on here about Carhartt, I was a bit skeptical, but I took sizing into consideration based on reviews for this particular pair of pants. I couldn't be more impressed. These pants fit lovely, exactly the way they did when I was young. They're comfortably firm in the waist, and perfectly loose and flexible everywhere you need tbem to be. I have to roll under trucks, weld in odd inverted positions, crawl out of car windows, and climb trailers all night to secure loads- these pants are exactly what I need. The main deciding factor on choosing these pants is Carhartt's wise decision to move manufacturing back to the U.S.- the same reason I continue to buy Red Wings boots. I'll gladly pay more for superior materials and craftsmanship- and it butters another Americans bread as well, so it is a triple win at that point. The inseam is a bit long on these pants, but who cares? It won't be long before they start to fray out at the bottoms and the extra length will buy me a lot more use out of them. Sign me up for a bunch more, in the market for more Carhartt work wear too- jackets, hoodies, etc. Update: 3-27-17 Took me a year and 4 months to wear out two pairs of these I wore in rotation 7 days a week under very harsh conditions. Just got my first new pair I reordered, I forgot how great they fit when they're new! A fan of these pants as long as they keep making them. Tough as nails! Update 10/8/20: I’ve bought nothing but these pants for the last 5 years now- Amazon keeps them in stock, they arrive fast, the quality and price is great, hasn’t fluctuated price wise at any considerable amount. As long as they keep making em, there’s no reason I’d ever quit buying em! 👍🏿👍🏿❤️❤️ ... show more

  • If you do real work, get these pants!
I ordered extra long 34” inseam with 30” waist and I’m very happy! I work in the Sonoran desert doing bee work and the extra Inseam length fits perfectly around my boots without ever pulling up off of my ankle, which is perfect for keeping bees out of my pants. I feel much safer walking through the brush and cactus, as the double front is thick and gives me the peace of mind to focus on what I’m doing, like carrying heavy equipment or managing angry bees. The waist is a little high and sits just below my belly button, which is not bad but personally took a little getting used to. The pants are extremely sturdy which makes lifting my knee higher than my hip a little difficult, but for most movement they are relatively free-moving. I love all the pockets! Being able to organize my tools is unbelievably useful while I work. I can rely on these pants for any use I put them through. The hammer retainer can be used for a GoPro with a handle as well! In all, I love these pants. They are my dedicated work pants as I don’t trust anything else to keep me as protected as these do. Thanks Carhartt! ... show more

  • Double front pants. Decent quality.
Size: 40W x 32L Color: Carhartt Brown
Carhartt makes decent quality pants. These are double front pants. I have several pairs of them. However on most new double front Carhartt pants they stopped using the rivets which shows a lack of style and cheapness. Good for working.

  • Long inseam
Size: 40W x 32L Color: Black
These run very long on the inseam. I normally NEED a 34", but with these a 32" inseam is almost too long. It has pockets in the right places, extremely heavyweight canvas and durable construction. These pants will last you a decade.

  • Know your work jean fit.
These are very durable jeans. The loose fit leaves plenty of room. Zero stretch, I would like to have a little. Even with them being a double front I didn’t really notice any extra weight. The one downside to the double front is the use of the cell phone pocket. Now a smaller phone there would be no issue. ... show more
