  • Love these
Size: 38W x 32L Color: Navy
Super comfy. New ones are thinner than old models but still decent. They fit half a size smaller than my other pants of the same size. Loose to move around and feel great.

  • Great pants.
Size: 32W x 30L Color: Golden Khaki
Useful pockets. Comfortable, durable material. Little long, proper in the waist, tight for guys who don’t skip leg day.

  • Carhartt says there's a 1.5 inch tolerance in the length but the inseams are still accurate!
Size: 30W x 30L Color: Golden Khaki
I have every color of the B11 and only purchased the B159 to have more color choices. I was wearing a pair of the B159 and my wife asked if my pants had shrunk in the wash. I looked down and and they were about an inch above my shoe. I then checked and my other B159 were all about the same length but about 1.5 inches shorter than my B11 of the same size. I called Carhartt and here is a copy of the transcript... 2:38 PM • Hello, so I've purchased every color of B11 you had available and what I couldn't get in a B11, I purchased in a B159.. My wife recently pointed out that my B159 are about an inch shorter in the same exact size and now it's bugging me. 2:41 PM • Can I swap them out for a 32 inseam? • I am sorry about that! Where did you purchase the B159 and how long have you had it? 2:42 PM • I purchased most all of them through Amazon at different times. I think I have about 3 pair and just bought a pair of B136 that should be delivered today. 2:43 PM • Have you tried to return this item to Amazon and order a different size? 2:44 PM • I haven't because I'm pretty sure I'm passed their 30 day return policy. I thought I'd contact you because it seems like it may be a manufacturing issue. 2:45 PM • S Ok, are all the B159s that you now have the same length or is one just longer than the rest of that same style? Selina • No, it seems all my B159 are an inch or more shorter than my B11. 2:46 PM • Yes, the B159 seem to be the same length. 2:47 PM • Ok, I will request some information on this. The difference that I see immediately is that one has been prewashed and one has not. Let me see if this could be a manufactures defect. One moment please. 2:51 PM • Ok, this is actually not a manufacture's defect, that certain style is made that way. Have you worn the pants and do they still have the tags? 2:57 PM • No, I've worn all of THEM...MAYBE, but almost certainly have removed the tags. Are the B150 designed to shrink or just made shorter? Is that the advantage of pre-washed? 3:00 PM • 159 3:01 PM • S These are not designed to shrink, it does not have to do with the item being prewashed but there is a 1-1.5 inch tolerance in length with the different styles. So some may vary about an inch or inch and a half in length between styles. Selina 3:02 PM • By design? That would make the inseam measurement inaccurate? • 3:04 PM • S The measurements would not be inaccurate, but with certain styles there can be a very slight difference of less than an inch and a half. Selina 3:06 PM • So, it's considered a "tolerance" rather than an anomaly? • • This would not considered a defect. Selina • Okay, interesting. Thank you. So that picture above is accurate. Make sure you get them at Amazon and check the fit IMMEDIATELY or you too could be subject to their "tolerance". Kind of makes you wonder how far off they have to be to make the "Factory second" sales I keep seeing around doesn't it? Oh well, I used to be a fan but I guess "American Made" doesn't mean what it used to. You've been warned. ... show more

  • White marks on backside seam…
I regularly buy my husband Carhartt jeans & pants (2-3 pairs a year). They are rugged, last a long time and wear really well. I love the color of this pair, but when he opened them after Christmas we noticed this odd white marking on the backside seam. It doesn’t pick or rub off and we are hoping they wash off. If it doesn’t wash off, I am hoping we will still be able to exchange them. That is my only complaint- Carhartt makes a great quality product. ... show more

  • Great pants except sizing
Size: 33W x 34L Color: Golden Khaki
I bought these because of needing tough work pants with a cell phone pocket large enough. I have always worn denim jeans. They wear out quickly and cell phone pocket is not large enough. I started wearing carpenter jean year ago after getting a smart phone. As doing carpenter type work, I sometimes wear a tool belt. This makes it difficult to use a belt clip type cell phone holder. Enter my like for a cell phone pocket. After using for work it became so normal and handy that all my casual and work pants became carpenter type. I see and know many that wear the carhartt pants. I decided to pay the extra cost over what I had been paying for denim. I have only worn a few times so far. My normal sizing is 33 x 34. First pair ordered on Amazon was returned and I now have 34 x 32 and they fit about like my previous denims in my normal sizing. The pants are loose fit (comfortable for work/activity, they are thick as would seem to be the toughest work pants I have ever had. Time, wear and multiple wash cycles will be the test. Thus far I am satisfied and would be surprised if anything changes. I will update this review after further testing. ... show more
