I use this wallet everywhere! I have it attached to my keys for my job and it opens, but the zipper is super sturdy and it's not gonna rip! It's Carharrt Brown so the color is spot on! This wallet is Durible, but not stain Proof. I'm going to be using this for at least a year but if you use it like a regular wallet it will last you MUCH longer. The only thing I don't like is if you have multiple cards in it, it does get a little hard to close and putting in money is hard. But otherwise a very good buy! ... show more

Pros- Definitely rugged as they say. Good materiel and sturdy made but still feels like a front pocket wallet. The think I like most is the grommet in the spine- well rooted and would make for a good anchor for a key ring or a tether/wallet chain. Feels like a good 'on the road' type design. Cons- Small, at least in terms of inside storage. I knew it was a slim wallet when I was getting it, but other slim wallets I have the same size hold more cards and cash. The 'middle' pocket on each side seems to make the wallet hard to close when there is a hard plastic card in there. (The The first and back pocket are fine and don't interfere with function at all, but the first pocket has the cards stick out far.) The bigger downside is the zipper is so close to the cash that unless you only put a small amount of cash in it'll catch on the zipper and fray a bit. If they made the overall design just a little bit bigger it'd fix both those problems easily. I agree with the other reviews that would suggest to have the same design but make it a little wider and flatter. ... show more

First of all, any Carhartt products are consistent, reliable, well made and made to last items. This wallet, too. Overall, this is a great wallet. It'd be perfect, for me, if it was a tad bigger. It is a small, compact, wallet. Limited inside card space so I had to consolidate which cards I felt I need to have ready everyday. I was disappointed I had to do this. And, the area where cash is kept is tight. The only real negative thing about this wallet is that I'm finding myself jamming bills down to avoid zipping the tops of bills when closing wallet via zipper. So, kind of strange review. I love Carhartt products. Carhartt quality can't be beat. This is a well made, made to last wallet. It is small. So, that's it. I like the wallet, but I do feel like it could be a little bigger, or the card pockets shouldn’t be horizontal. Makes the card space kinda tight. Who knows maybe I haven’t broken it in yet

I only use Zip-Around Wallets. I've been using the Victornox 610395 for YEARS. (its still my Go-To EDC) I have it side by side with the Carhartt for comparison. I've tried 11 different zip-around wallets; The Carrhartt wallet is the smallest zip-around I've owned so far. As you can see it holds 7 cards (6 inside 1 outside) and slot for dollar bills. Weight: with 7 cards & 3 dollar bills it was 4oz. It has strong zipper (common flaw among wallets) CONS: very stiff to fold open, i think it will eventually soften with break-in (i'm just used to the soft Victornox) If you put Lots of bills in it <$2k they can get caught on zipper. a little bit of glue bled out from the seem when it was manufactured ( idc about it, but you might) see picture. I paid 35.00 for mine- well worth it. ... show more

My husband really wanted this wallet because of the zipper that way at work none of his cards would fall out. The length of the wallet is a bill size so you can’t fit many in it. You can’t fit many cards in it as well. Wish it would have came in a bigger size.
