  • Great fit and very warm
Size: Medium Color: Black
When you're winter camping in the mountains of West Virginia, you learn pretty quickly what gear actually works and what falls short. These Carhartt bibs have proven themselves time and time again in some genuinely cold, challenging conditions, and both my wife and I have come to rely on them as essential pieces of our cold-weather camping gear. Exceptional Warmth The insulation in these bibs is no joke. West Virginia winters can be brutal, especially when you're spending extended periods outdoors setting up camp, gathering firewood, or just trying to enjoy the scenery without freezing. These bibs provide serious warmth that keeps you comfortable even when temperatures drop well below freezing. The insulation is substantial enough to handle prolonged exposure to cold without requiring excessive layering underneath, yet it's distributed in a way that doesn't create bulk or restrict movement. Fit and Comfort One of the most impressive aspects of these bibs is how well they fit. Carhartt clearly understands that workwear and outdoor gear needs to accommodate real movement and real bodies. The sizing is accurate, the adjustable suspenders allow you to dial in the perfect fit, and there's enough room to layer clothing underneath without feeling constricted. They sit comfortably at the waist without sagging, and the leg length is appropriate for tucking into boots to keep snow and cold air out. Durability for Outdoor Use Winter camping means crawling around setting up tents, kneeling on cold ground, brushing against rough bark and rocks, and generally putting your gear through its paces. These bibs handle all of that abuse without showing significant wear. The fabric is tough and resistant to tears and abrasions, the knees are reinforced for extra durability, and the quality of construction is evident in every seam and stitch. These are built to last through many seasons of hard use. A Family Favorite My wife has her own pair of these Carhartt bibs, and she's just as enthusiastic about them as I am. It's not often that a piece of outdoor gear works equally well for different body types and preferences, but these bibs have won both of us over. She particularly appreciates how they keep her warm without adding unnecessary bulk, and how they hold up to the demanding conditions we encounter on our winter camping trips. When both partners in a camping duo agree on gear, you know you've found something special. West Virginia Winter Testing The mountains of West Virginia provide a genuine testing ground for winter gear. You get cold temperatures, wind, occasional snow and ice, and the kind of conditions that reveal whether your equipment is up to the task. These bibs have accompanied us on numerous winter camping adventures throughout the state, and they've never let us down. Whether we're hiking into a backcountry site, setting up camp in freezing temperatures, or sitting around the campfire on a cold evening, these bibs keep us warm and comfortable. Bottom Line If you're looking for reliable, warm, well-fitting bibs for winter outdoor activities, these Carhartt bibs are an excellent investment. They've earned their place as essential gear in our camping arsenal, and we trust them completely for cold-weather adventures. Whether you're camping, working outdoors, or just need serious cold-weather protection, these bibs deliver the warmth, durability, and comfort that Carhartt is known for. Both my wife and I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who takes their winter outdoor pursuits seriously. ... show more

  • Great quality
Size: Medium Color: Carhartt Brown
So I am 5'11" about 165 lbs, and i ordered the medium and it is a bit longer on me.. washed em in super hot water and shrank to absolutely perfect size.. front pockets are perfect depth, many other pockets which is perfect for work, and seem to be the reliable quality build that I come to expect out of carhart.. plenty thick enough to keep me warm outside while working 10 hr shifts in the cold.. hope they last me 10 years like my last pair.. worth every penny Update: so went to wash these for the first time and where the clasp is attached at the chest is already fraying, will be sending back for a new pair.. hope this is a fluke cuz I really love these bibs ... show more

  • Sizing
Size: 3X-Large Short Color: Black
For sizing, I originally ordered a 3X regular, I have a 30 inch inseam and they were too long, exchanged for the short and the leg length is fine. My only complaint is that the elastic shoulder straps are too short to adjust them properly. 30 inch or under inseam order the short. Note these can't be hemmed due to the zippers on the legs. Hope this helps Other than that typical Carhartt quality. ... show more

  • Review is about Fasteners, Warmth, Quality, Size.
Size: Medium Color: Carhartt Brown
Size seems good I just should have bought him a large. Purchased Medium short, 5’11”, about 200lbs. Wears a hoodie under but undoes the hip buttons. The strap FASTENERS are ANNOYING design. Not worth buying for this very reason. If there was a zipper on the front it wouldn’t be an issue because the straps would always stay hooked up. Going on 3 months of use. Still in good working order. Kept my husband warm in average temps -40F to -25F for 3 weeks in a row. Working on the farm and in an unheated working on a vehicle. Great quality horrible design. Wont buy again till design is changed. My teen boy has the Bernies version and having the zipper on the front is a game changer. ... show more

  • 9/10 for the chest pocket.
Size: Medium Color: Carhartt Brown
6ft, 160lbs go medium. It'll definitely be the loose fit as advertised. DO NOT GO BY CLICKABLE CHART. Down in the description is a more reliable chart. Go by that. But mine fit great and feel great. I thought the chest pocket was open on the sides but its a top zipper. No biggie. But if anyone else thinks the same. ... show more
