I'm 5'10", 233 lbs. The 2XLs fit well with plenty of room for other garments underneath. Warm! 3M Thinsulate lining is identical to the 3M Thinsulate lining in my Carhart jacket. Both are rated 'Warmest'. Don't understand the complaints about the bib suspenders. Reach around and bring the suspenders forward by grabbing the bib material and not the elastic suspender! Kept me warm in 1° F damp cold. The hood is awesome; insulated as well and extends out past the face. Bottom zips on the legs with fasteners and storm flaps are a great addition. ... show more

The size I ordered was perfect. I’m 5’9. I weigh 195 lbs. I’m very muscular and 10% body fat or less. I work out at the gym so if you are 195 lbs like me and have a larger waist than a 32 or 34 I wouldn’t recommend. . I have very wide shoulders with a tiny waist. I wear I normal size 32 waist and 30 length. So I went with medium short and they fit perfectly!! I love how durable they feel and doing high rise construction on the super windy cold beachside during winter time with no trees or anything to stop the wind it gets extremely cold. These will be perfect so wind does not go up between layers. Highly recommend. People posting all these ripped up messed up carhartt items they destroyed them on their own. They probably cut them on rebar wire ties or something and then post how horrible material is. No the material is very thick and durable. These for sure if you rip these, the. I can only imagine what they would do to any other materials. Would totally shred other materials. The shoulder straps I do wish were the same material all the way to clip. I've wanted a pair of these Carhartt overalls for a few years. They are fantastic. Buy your size...they are oversized to fit over clothes. I can get fully dressed and still put on these coveralls easily. The old-school strap fastener is very secure...you have to get used to how they connect and disconnect. Perfect for snow removal, cold football games (Go Chiefs) and any outside work. The washed duck was the fabric I liked. The firm duck was too stiff for my liking (but probably more durable) ... show more

    • Great Bibs but Carhartt sizes are HUGE!

Granted, I know these are "Loose Fit" but Carhartt should maybe revisit their sizing charts just to save $$ on re-shipping! I am 198 lbs, 5'-8" tall, and wear 36/30 pants (Tom Cruise has no worries, but Drew Carey needs to watch out!). Carhartt sizing charts put me at 'X-Large' (Regular), but they were massive. Five or six inches too long and uncomfortably baggy. I returned immediately, re-ordered "Large - Short" and they fit perfectly with plenty of length to go over my work boots without looking like I am ready for a flood. Get you some! ... show more
