Description

An excellent lightweight choice, Carhartt canvas work short is made of 7.5-ounce, 100 percent cotton canvas work with a 10-inch inseam. The left leg features a hammer loop and ruler pocket, while the right leg includes a pocket for a cell phone or tools, plus a utility band. It also has extra wide belt loops. The back pockets feature reinforced seams. Non-chlorine bleach when needed. For best results, measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape. Natural Waist: Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: it may not be the smallest point.Hip/Seat: Measure the fullest point between your natural waist and crotch.

I bought these shorts for work since I work outside and hate wearing pants in the summer months. These are a good choice for work shorts. I ripped a hole in my first pair and quickly bought another because I liked them so much. I will say they are durable enough for what I use them for and I am an idiot who would rather walk threw a thorny bush than around it and they surprisingly held up longer than I thought they would and they are very comfortable. I love the fit of these shorts. The end just before my knee, are very flexible, and are super comfortable to wear all day long. I have 8 pairs of these shorts and after one summer of use they're coming apart (see image). Not shown is a repair on the belt loop (most pairs have had the back belt loops (two left and right of center) have torn off at the seam and a talented tailor can repair them). Great Shorts! Thick and Durable. Breathe well and Stretch well. Large and deep cell phone pocket. I have the Samsung Z Fold Brick. It fits and stays in the cell phone pocket at work. Inside of the Pockets are the same thick material as the shorts. Dirt and dust wipes right off. I am very happy with them. If they last I'll prob get another color. Sizing: I read the reviews about sizing up. I would agree that carhartt pants and Shorts Run Small at the waist, at First. After I've worn them for an hour or so the waist stretches a whole size up. I normally wear a 38 waist. Lately my 38 are falling down and bunching up with my belt. I'm 6' 225. My 38 s have been baggy on me after that initial hour I was talking about. I do have a slight belly and my pants sit underneath my belly on my lower waist. I ordered 36. They were tight as hell only on the waist. I wore them to work and sure enough, they are a 38 now. I also do NOT need a belt with them! I also hang dry my work clothes because they get washed so much. I hope this helps people that are in between sizes like me. As a retired man I don't need work shorts but these fit the bill as 'Dad' pants. Confortable, durable, Carhart quality with two deep slash pockets in front, one small phone sized pocket on the right leg, a hammer loop and ruler pocket on the left side, plus two rear pockets. Like the shorts , but seems like the waist size is wrong on them ,have tried two pair and both are undersized. Have had Carhart pants and shorts in the past that fit good in waist. Otherwise like them. Also would prefer shorter inseam.
