Constructed of heavy-duty 1200D Poly with Rain Defender durable water repellent, this rugged bag can handle even the toughest jobs. It also features a Duravax abrasion-resistant base or custom molded load-bearing base, both of which provide extra protection from hazardous job site conditions as well as scrapes and punctures from tools. Note the triple needle stitch provides reinforcement where it counts. The internal metal frame offers structure to the bag so you can get in and get out without it collapsing in on itself. Tools stay organized and easy to find with a variety of different sized pockets and loops. Additional details: YKK zippers, metal hardware, reinforced webbing & comfort grip haul handles, Carhartt logo patch. As a person that is involved in electronics and likes to fix things around the house, I have to say this is the best tool container I have ever purchased, I can hardly find anything to throw in this thing that is problematic, it accommodates everything I need to do my tasks my Makita Impact Driver and Drill are inside with batteries attached box containing Hotligh worklight boxes with components and fasteners, Multimeter Fluke 115 holds easily in one of the outside pockets and so much more, I placed the bag on top of a rotating stool that stands beside my lab bench I just turn the swivel on the stool to access the most needed tools like pliers and screwdrivers placed in the outside pockets. I was in the market for a bag that would carry all my most commonly used tools. The 5 gal bucket organizer I used was no longer holding up. And, there were too many times when I found myself without a tool, or batteries that ran out of juice on the site. After researching numerous bags (several brands/models, carry & wheeled), the Legacy 18 won out for the following reasons; Carhartt reputation, functional design, molded base, number of pockets, interior dimensions, and a lighter color fabric makes it easier to find what's inside. As others have noted this bag holds a lot, so weight management might come into play. Inside is holding a drill, impact driver, charging station, 2 hammers, 2 saws, T-handle wrench, 3 small cases (sockets, driver bits, drill bits), a wire brush, 2 pairs of gloves and knee pads. There's still room available, but at 42 lbs currently, I will be removing some items. I agree with other reviews, that a clip for holding a tape measure & deeper exterior pockets would be an improvement. When I first received the bag I wasn't sure it would stay open, but once loaded that concern went away. Friends have also commented on the appealing aesthetics. ... show more

This bag is great. For my use the amount of pockets it good, I like that you can zip it closed and there is plenty of room inside as well as more pockets there. Everything is stitched together well and it looks good to boot.
