Mine arrived jammed, therefore I am taking off one star. I needed assistance in pulling it apart (two strong men, one pulling the bottom section and one pulling the top section in the opposite direction) and it took quite a bit of force. This would definitely be an issue for individuals living alone. I would not have been able to fix this myself. After pulling apart, the cane adjusts as it should. It works for my height (5ft). The finish is a beautiful silver/grey swirl with black. This cane is fashionable yet subtle.

It's a great cane in the grip is comfortable. The biggest issue is mine came jammed with the button to adjust it not even in sight it was stuck way up high above all the buttons. Two of my strong guy neighbors pulled on each end and couldn't even get it to unjam. They had to get professional vice grips or something to assist. If you didn't have help and yours comes jammed it could be an issue. I noticed another review on here the lady's cane came jammed as well. If you have someone that can unjam it it's a great deal for $4

Have ordered these canes in the past. The grip design has change and is oval with flat sides and thin foam rubber handle. With in a week my thumb wore thru the foam creating a thumbed shape tear. The old style with thick foam took months to wear out. Avoid ordering this new design grip it looks crummy after a week or two.

Lightweight, fairly easy to adjust. I'm 5' 1" and just shy of 150lbs, and it supports my weight and adjusts to my height perfectly. Points off for arriving with a ton of scratches; I feel like I'm using a second-hand item that wasn't advertised as such.

This cane is very black with just a hint of gray. Additionally, the finish around the handle is not as good as it has been with all the other Carex canes I have ordered (7 so far)--especially when this was one of the more expensive ones.
