This is the first time I've ever used a glucose monitor, so I'm not sure how to know if this is accurate or not. I did the test with the solution the way they said to in the booklet and that was OK, but my numbers seem to be all over the place. First I was 86 then the next morning before eating I was 94, then that afternoon (2 hours after last food) I was 130 (!), so I tried it again right away and that next number was 97. A little while ago I was 100, so I can't say if these are accurate or not. It is easy to read and it's nice the entire kit is compact and everything you need is right there, except alcohol wipes. I had to send the first kit back because they left it in my hot mailbox late (after regular mail had come) and didn't inform me until 24 hours later. The test strips must have gotten too hot because I could test on them one after another and get numbers so far apart it was crazy. This kit was handed to me, so I'm hoping it's OK. Seemed to be with the first lower reading. I'm not diabetic, but have a slightly higher A1c and am trying to get a handle on what makes my glucose go up, so I thought this might help. Perhaps not if I'm not sure if I'm getting accurate readings.

I got this for my wife because her test strips were going to take a few days, and as a type 1 she can't go without a meter. This was going to be a backup, but I think it's going to be her primary meter now. It runs on 2 AAA batteries (which are included), it came with a nice case, 100 test strips, calibration fluid, lancer, and 100 lancets. The lancer is awesome, the meter is very accurate, easy to set up, and doubles as a test strip launcher lol For real, it's a heck of a deal so if you're looking for a meter that has affordable test strips this thing is great!

I am so called diabetic. My numbers on average 165 (with other glucometer). I am vegetarian, no cokes, no alcohols, workaholic and high-intensity workout person. Still my numbers are 165 with the other glucometer. Now, I took a chance to buy this one. Lo and behold! it showed 120 for the last one week. What, do I believe it? You know what, I believe it. Because, I should not be diabetic with my lifestyle. This glucometer is giving great feeling that I am NOT diabetitc. With this feeling, I am feeling just like a little kid (of 65 years old). Thanks for learning my experience.

So I decided to purchase this glucose meter for my type 2 diabetes. I highly recommend that you read the book before start using it but it works wonderful and it's a great value on Amazon.

I purchased because my doctor said I was pre-diabetic. I made major changes to my diet and activity and wanted to monitor my glucose levels. This was easy to use and happy to say my A1C is now in the normal range! I still will regularly monitor my glucose and do happy with this purchase!?

This is a great product. Easy to use, very accurate, comes with more supplies than most monitors (at least as far as my experience goes), replacement supplies are super reasonable, and best of all you get readings with tiny drops of blood.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this glucose meter because of the amount of tests strips it included. I am prediabetic with typical fasting sugar of 106-113mg/dl and want to test occasionally to make sure my sugar levels are right, since I am on blood sugar supplements, Berberine, liver cleanse tea and Tumeric Ginger tea (all bought in Amazon), to help with insulin resistance. It is very easy to use and it reads very fast. My sugar level are stable, even while eating a moderate amount of carbs. My fasting sugar levels in the morning's are now 81 - 98 mg/dl which is great.
