I bought a Troy-built 17.5hp Pony riding mower and it was running rough when I got it so I knew it needed some work. It was surging so I knew it was the carb. and I made the decision to just change it. I found this one great price lots of extras as well first of all it arrived when it was suppose to. It was very well packaged no damage to the box. Everything in the picture came with the kit, one of the pieces was a new fuel line. the changeover took maybe 15 minutes the bolts took a min. to break loose, but it went on easy and fit like a glove no issues. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Cheap attempt in lieu of buying manufacurer parts ($280-$300) Carburetor replacement: It unfortunately would not deliver fuel. Could be user error. Just finished engine rebuild on project jeep. I'm pretty handy.
