I bought a Troy-built 17.5hp Pony riding mower and it was running rough when I got it so I knew it needed some work. It was surging so I knew it was the carb. and I made the decision to just change it. I found this one great price lots of extras as well first of all it arrived when it was suppose to. It was very well packaged no damage to the box. Everything in the picture came with the kit, one of the pieces was a new fuel line. the changeover took maybe 15 minutes the bolts took a min. to break loose, but it went on easy and fit like a glove no issues. Engine surges unless throttle control is fully turned in which only allows the engine to run at full speed. Other adjustment did virtually nothing. Waste of money.
