    • Starts right up but surges
Bolted right up , started right up , but it makes the engine surge , had no intention of returning it so I drilled the low idle jet out at first to .032 , that didn't work so I tried .037 , that didn't work , tried .040 , witch technically should be to much gas flow but that didn't even work , cleaned the old Nikki carb and put it back on , works better than this one . Hate giving bad reviews but I'm only being honest . ... show more

Gone are the days of carb kits, now is the time of carb replacement. This Dosens Carburetor was an easy swap out for the original and works just as well. As long as I can get 2-3 seasons out of it, it is well worth the cost. The filters, hoses and such are all a nice extra touch. Be sure and check your part numbers and purchase with confidence, this is a working part. ... show more

Make sure you check to see if your lawnmower is compatible. I just read that it was for a 42" Troybilt & was sold. Once it arrived, I found that it wouldn't fit my 2014 Pony. The rest of the kit was top notch & got her back running after a super duper carb cleaning of my old one
