  • you can play more aggressively in offense
I have played the paddle for a week and like it very much so I am getting another one at such a good deal/steal price. This is suitable for intermediate or better level players as it's 1/2" to 7/8" narrower in width therefore requires more precise sweet spot hit. It's also heavier at 8.1 oz (or 8.6 as some comments have measured it) vs. more common 7.7 - 8 oz. Plus, thicker and slightly longer. BUT, all these characteristics give more power! I can't attest whether the surface is T700 raw carbon fiber but the frosted face does create friction and allows spin. If you have been playing pickleball for a few months this paddle may upgrade your play style and improve your control ability. Oh, this is not USAPA approved!? If we play pick-up games locally or with friends, who cares? Finally, the unmarked neoprene paddle cover is a really nice addition. ... show more

  • Smaller but heavier.
Got it when it was on special for $19.99. At that price it is a good deal. The size is smaller than the ones I owned and definitely heavier at 8.6 oz(measured on my scale). Did feel the difference compared to my Honolulu J2 racket which costs over $100. Surprised to see this racket had more power at cost of lower control and feel. The smaller size of the racket appeared not so much of a factor when playing. For sure better than entry level rackets. At the sale price is a good value but at regular price it is a fair value. ... show more

  • Upgrade over the super cheap paddles
This pickleball paddle is better than the other low cost paddles I have tried. It has nice feedback and the grip is comfortable and easy to hold. I also like the surface on the paddle, it's more grippy than some of the cheaper ones and lets you get a bit more control. The paddle seems to be slightly narrower and thicker than other paddles I have tried, but I don't mind and find it has a more consistent performance and still hits nicely near the edges. A nice little carrying case is also improved. Overall a good budget paddle, I think for the money it's reasonable. ... show more

  • Just ok
None of my paddles have a case, but the Sinsham includes a neoprene case. Unfortunately, it's just a plain boring black case with no graphics. It needs to be spiced up. I'm used to playing with an Engage Pickleball Pursuit EX. It's double the price of the Sinsham but that is my reference point. The grip on the Sinsham is larger than the EX and my hands aren't huge so I didn't like that. The weight of the Sinsham is heavier than the EX, so I didn't like that. The top of the Sinsham is rounded instead of flat, so I didn't like that. The Sinsham is also thicker than the EX, so I didn't like that. The Sinsham has less surface area than the EX to strike the ball, so I didn't like that. The graphic skin on the Sinsham is unexciting compared to the EX, so I didn't like that. The paddle offers a reasonable level of responsiveness, allowing for accurate shots in most situations. While the paddle felt solid, the overall value for money is questionable. There are other paddles at a lower price point that perform just as well or better. ... show more

  • This paddle is a beaut. Very Nice.
The case it comes in is worth the price alone. It's like a neoprene zipper cover for the paddle, it will protect it. It has a good grip, it is wrapped well. I don't like that it's only 4.5" vs 5" but my hand still fits on it and it's okay. It feels great. It is easy to hold onto and very light. The design is pretty nice in my opinion, but everyone may have their own. The rubber band around the top of the grip could be better, but it functions as it should. It is a thicker paddle, but the edges on the paddle board part do not stick out horrifically like some paddles. I'd buy this one just for the awesome neoprene zipper protection, but you also get a great paddle. I gave easy to hold only 4 stars because I think it would be the best if it had a 5" handle. My hands, it is okay I don't have large hands, but I know some men do so they may want the 5" handle, I actually prefer that because my hands are right there at the limit. The grip is very nice- it is more on the firm side than squishy soft. I suppose it depends what you want. The ridge around the outside of the paddle is semi-defined. It's not too big that I think it would be a hinderance. It's not tiny. It's also sloped at a rate that may be beneficial to the player. It is not just "ridge here" it slopes up a bit. A great paddle. ... show more

  • Pretty good value, but realize it's not raw carbon fiber
Since I've shockingly found an occasional paddle with a raw carbon fiber face near this price point, I had a small amount of hope when ordering it, that I had found another 'steal'. Well, it IS a very nice (well balanced, ELONGATED form, confident/reliable swings and hits, that also comes with a neoprene sleeve) paddle! But it is not raw cfs. The surface offers some decent friction, but overall, this is a competent offering worth considering as a step above entry level carbon fiber (MANY steps above entry level fiberglass, for sure). I recommend this type of paddle as a go-between, but honestly know it's kind of in mid-land, where I'd invest slightly more to find another 'steal' on a raw carbon fiber face paddle, although they ARE hard to find at this budget price point. ... show more

  • Amazing paddle.
I’m only now just really getting deep into Pickleball I only play a couple hours a week and I feel like I’m learning a lot. I can’t tell you I truly know a ton about each paddle and their differences pros and cons but I do really like this paddle. It has a great pop to it when the ball meets the paddle. Compared to some of the other cheap inexpensive paddles I have, there’s an obvious difference with this one for the better. I think you have a really good control over the ball and where you hit it and I think the paddle makes a difference. I really recommend it to anyone. ... show more

  • Love it
One of the best paddles I have owned. I am a beginning player that has been playing for a bout a year. I have purchased 3 or 4 paddles and this one has been my favorite. It light and has lots of grip. The handle is very comfortable.
