    • Required some modification, but was the carb I was looking for. Incredibly inexpensive.
The carb looked perfect, all the linkages were the same. Oddly enough, the idle mixture screw had NO slot for a screwdriver blade, so I had to grind in a slot with a dremel. Next, the throttle plate was binding, I finally had to remove the plate and put the throttle plate from the old carb. Then the throttle worked smoothly without binding. Then when I got the carb in place, it was slightly longer than the old carb, so the original mounting bolts didn't have enough threads to allow attachment of the air cleaner assembly. So I had to used different bolts, which I had, but then the installation was difficult, whereas the original bolts made for an easy installation. And then the float bowl inlet was straight, and should have been right-angled. I had to install longer fuel line to attach the line. In the end the mower runs good now. So a great value, but a pain to resolve the issues. Three stars for hassles, fives stars for value. ... show more
