We only use these tools in the door latch; not bought for the belt cutting function. Our previous handle could be inserted both parallel and perpendicular to the door. My husband needs both ways when entering and exiting the high car. The metal tip on this "handle" will only fit in the door latch ONE WAY. Will not work for our needs. Don't know how sturdy or durable it is yet as only used it for a couple of weeks. ... show more

The handle works as intended but is more loose when installed than I expected. This might vary from car to car. Unfortunately the flashlight component doesn't work at all. Seller promptly contacted me, offered to refund and replace with another one. Can recommend seller!

I bought this item when I noticed my shoulder and my elbow were having some issues because of the way I was getting out of my car. This will help me use my arm little more easily and create fewer problems with the shoulder and elbow. It takes a little practice.

Good (bought it for my Mother) but within a week the are where the batteries are placed broke and no longer works, so the light doesn't work any more 😑👎 Other than that it's still good to use .. in other words keep a flash light with you.
