    • This product made a big improvement in my carpeted stairs.
The reason for my purchase was to clean our carpet stairs which had started to show a bit of dirt. The product arrived quickly, the instructions were easy to follow and I consider the job to be successful; one word of caution; the package says that I can leave the cleaner on for a bit longer for spots that were a bit dirtier. I did add about 10-15 minutes to the recommended time and the material dried. This took quite a bit of extra scrubbing with the brush that comes in the kit to get the dried material up. Next time, I will do 2 applications and not allow the extra drying time. It's a bit more work but it should help to reduce the scrubbing time needed when vacuuming up the cleaning substance. This Capture Care kit saved me about $170 over having a pro come in to do the cleaning. It took some effort but the results were very good. ... show more

I have 2 jute rugs that needed cleaned. I followed the instructions and was pleasantly surprised of how well it worked. Ah, but then I NOTICED powder under the rug and within a day they )looked as they did when I began. Very odd.

I have used Capture in the past to clean my rugs and was very happy to find it again. Does a good job of cleaning and the kit comes with a flat brush you can attach to a broom handle for easier cleaning.

1. First the tub was open and spilling all over the inside of the undamaged shipping container. 2A. Brush was totally useless and snagged carpet. No handle, and would not fit standard handle. 2. This product does not work as described. Also, it can clog your vacuum and make it over heat! Had to remove bag, filter, and carefully clean the guts of my expensive Miele vacuum! 3.Surprised it was recommended by an allergy company. Clearly they never used this product. 4.
