I only really docked a star for the limited colors and sizing. I purchased 1x-2x in caramel. Caramel is really far too dark for me. (It does lighten with washes. Especially if you use warm water as it will release the dye. One warm wash, and it's a much more appropriate color for me.) Even on the Capezio site, the colors closest to my skin tone were not offered in my sizing. It's just a little frustrating, but I get stocking all colors and all sizes isn't cost-effective. The other issue is that based on their size chart, I sized up, and while tights have great stretch, I definitely went with the right size. Around my hip and bum, the tights are at max capacity without becoming uncomfortable. Fits more comfortably around the belly, waist, thighs, etc. with lots of stretch room. Little too thicc, I guess. Eventually, the tights do stretch and mold to the body though, so I'm not too worried. The actual tights once you have your size and desired color are incredible. They're thick and comfortable, and it makes me remember why I like dance tights so much. While putting these on for the first time, I was so worried that I was going to snap through them because my nails kept snagging. Not a thread out of place though! (Part of why I opted for dance tights is that I've had a bad time with most other tights. My nails just go right through unless they're completely opaque, and I wanted a more "skin" look.) Because there's no elastic, there's no digging into your stomach either which is lovely. Plus, once they were on, my legs looked fantastic! The tights are just sheer enough to look like leg while giving this buttery smooth blur. I hadn't shaved when I tried them on for the first time, and it totally covered any leg hair or playful-cat-induced scratches. It's great! Didn't even want to take them off based solely on comfort. The compression level is perfect too. Akin to a gentle hug rather than trying to strangle your legs. Just definitely look at that size chart. If you're between, size up and be willing to wash to your color. (There's more styles, sizes, and colors on Capezio's site if you can't find it on Amazon.) ... show more

I love these tights! So often the tights I buy are just too tight! These were perfect, they did not cut into my waist or cause a tummy ache, yet stayed up without wrinkling. They are nice and soft and do not snag easily. I bought them to wear with a dress to an outdoor wedding in February and they kept me warm. I will buy Capezio tights from now on.
