I purchased these for a competition, and am glad I did not compromise with a cheaper, fashion-brand pair. These fishnets are tough as nails, and they feel like iron going on. Once on, though, they are snug and smooth and look great under a ballroom gown. The sole is fabric, which likely is much easier on the bottom of the foot than the fishnet weave would be. Otherwise, these are nothing but net - no panty, no liner, nothing, so you'll want to pair with dance trunks or Spanx boy shorts if you don't want to display more than your talent. I am a fair-skinned blonde who competes untanned, and the suntan was perfect. The S/M fit fine on my 5'3" 128lb frame. There was no issue with static cling. They're a little scratchy going on, but I got over that quickly. They don't feel particularly stretchy, but that is a good thing because they can handle a few days of all-day wear without sagging or gapping. Yes, you may look like a quilt when they come off, but they provide great compression on the legs and perform double-duty as shapers on the butt and belly. ... show more

The hose were comfortable and very durable. They fit well and did not tear. My only drawback is they did not have the foot pad on the bottom of the feet. I did not realize that was optional with fishnet hose. Overall I am very happy with them.

Size XL fit perfectly re: size 14/16, 5'7" tall. These fishnet tights have spandex in them, so they will bounce back and not end up bagging in the knees or falling down. I expect them to hold up to numerous handwashing re: Capezio brand. The tights have a solid sole of the foot (probably for size 7 shoe) and fishnet pattern is everywhere else (i.e. there's no cotton gusset in the crotch). The only drawback--They are not as soft as the all-nylon fishnets--but they are a *lot* sturdier. ... show more

Fishnets are usually a “one and done” for me because they snag so easily and are a thin quality. These ones are the dancer type and have a thicker, rougher texture; I don’t mind, though. They’re great for smoothing out imperfections. I put my socks on first then put on the fishnets so they’re not rough on my feet. Sadly, I only had two wears in these, as a passerby’s purse zipper caught on them and she rudely yanked her bag and ripped my tights instead of allowing me to safely detach her zipper. These tights were sold with severe defects. The packaging was a very rumpled plastic bag with an inventory sticker, not the usual Capezio packaging. I opened it to check the label in the tights and make sure they were not an off brand. To my shock, both feet were crudely cut off. These are supposed to be footed with a cotton sole. The image shows the tiny bit of sole that was left on them. There was also a small stain on one leg (see image) and they are scented as thought they were around perfum but the tights seem unworn. I wonder if these are factory seconds or a returned item. I have never received such a mangled product. Very disappointed. ... show more
