The "compression" (snugness) of these tights provided immediate and significant pain relief for the arthritis pain in my knees. I am ordering more so that I can wear them anytime I want. I can see them being great for everyday wear as well as for exercising or wearing under clothes on busy work days. I'm wearing them under jeans right now and they feel great without adding any bulk. They do not bind at all but provide support that is so strong I can see me taking less medication. I was about to take a pain reliever until I put these on and now I feel no need for it. Got lucky on the size on my first order. But for reference, I'm 5' 6" and I weigh 132 pounds and I couldn't be happier with the x-large.

I have tried pain killers, cortisone shots, TENS machine and various support products made for men's knees, like compression leg sleeves... Nothing helped, until now. Not only do these practically eliminate most of the pain, my legs feel energized and I am totally hooked and will be wearing these daily. I do not know why the industry does not market tights or compression hosiery to men, but they should. If there are other men wondering if they will lose their "man card" wearing these, who cares what anyone else thinks. I went with light suntan to match my skin tone, just in case a pants leg tears... lol Speaking of pants, even they are more comfortable now, since the tights also act as a leg liner, allowing pants and jeans to better slide over the leg. For work or riding my motorcycle, these are literally a home run! The only real complaint I have is I wish these had a flat seam on the "panty" section. You would think, professional women's dance tights would have a flat seam. However, that is a minor complaint and it the seam irritates you, put something on under the them. I am 5'8" and 190lbs, the XL fit me perfectly in footed and footless. One last comment, to those with the negative reviews stating too tight... These are COMPRESSION\SUPPORT tights, they are supposed to be very tight. It does take effort to get them on, but once on, they stay put and feel great (lotion your legs first). I almost did not buy them because of the negative reviews. It would have been a shame to have missed out one such a great product, because it seems many thought they were too small because of the effort in stretching them to put them on... hold and stretch, is exactly how you put them on too. ;)
