Although the product is titled "CAP Barbell Neoprene Coated Dumbbell Weights, 5 Pound, Single, Magenta". WEIGHTS. And it is priced appropriately for two. And one would assume 5 lb hand weights come as a pair. This is one of the things that drives me nuts about Amazon. Zero seller quality control.

CAP makes the best neoprene dumbbells. And I was so excited to find something over 9 lbs. in a nice color! I have no idea what I'll do once I graduate to 15 lb. weights, since they're all grey and black, but right now I'll revel in my awesome, red 12 lb. weights. The red of the 12 lb. weights is even redder than in the picture, which I love. I've loved CAP dumbbells for years now. I have 3 lbs. to 12 lbs. (except the 10's, because grey is gross). The neoprene is consistent and makes a nice grip (REALLY important for rapidly changing weights during HIIT), the handles may vary in size a bit based on weight, but they're never too thick for me to handle (and I have XS female hands), the hex shape is perfect for keeping these from rolling around and falling on you or the floor (not all hexagonal weights have pronounced enough hex sides to keep this from happening), and the colors are (usually) awesome. Most importantly to me is that there's no dumb, giant logo on the sides—there's just a number. There's nothing to distract you from grabbing the right weights at a glance. I was disappointed with the packaging. The weights were not cushioned at all in their Amazon box. They were wrapped in a thin bit of plastic bag and put in a box just big enough for them. Somehow, the neoprene coating has never been damaged in any of the CAP dumbbell orders I've made...but it just seems like they're asking for dents in the coating. ... show more

This company uses language to make the purchaser think they are buying a set of dumbbells. Imagine my surprise when I received one instead of the two I was expecting. $30 for one dumbbell. I guess I'm the dumbbell for not realizing they were charging such an outrageous price. Deceptive wording to fool the public. What a scam! ... show more

Well I was definitely duped! Thought 2 came for $15. Wow this is the most expensive 2lb. weight EVER, the seller is making a killing. I still can't believe I fell for this sham. Literally fifteen dollars for ONE TWO POUND WEIGHT. DON'T BUY.
