They’re 100% cotton and acid free. These Canvas Boards can be used with many types of paints. The one that we like to use are acrylic paints and they are perfect for our paint sets that we got too. Disappointed in this brand. The boards appear flat, but once you start putting paint on them, they start bowing really bad. At first I thought maybe I got it too wet, so when I used another one, I was very sparse with the paint and it still bowed badly. I tried another and again, same thing. I will just use the remaining boards for testing paint and mediums but not for actual work. I won't buy this brand again. ... show more

I love these canvases. They are easy to handle. They aren’t flimsy. They pick up color well. I made this picture with paint markers I got from here and that color shows vivid. Minimal smudging but other than that 10/10
