I ordered these for my fifth grade classroom for a Christmas art project. These were perfect! The size was exactly what I needed. The students didn't need to put a base coat on before painting a snowman on the canvas. These were to be gifted to parents once they were painted. These are just the right size for anyone timidly getting into water color painting for the first time. I did three washes on one painting, drying it between washes, and the paper covering held up really well. The ketchy painting in the example was also done with loads of water, and again the cotton/cellulose paper maintained its rigidity and didn’t break down or soften. I’m very impressed with the quality of these canvases, especially when you consider the low price! Thanks Amazon!
