I'm a 34 waist, 6ft tall, 195lbs, and I got a medium. It fits fine -- a bit tight, and I don't really need to use the draw string. The quality looks and feels great, I would buy again but prolly a size bigger unless I lose an inch or 2 of the waist. Instead they sent "Professional" shorts, a cheaper style, WITH pockets. An incorrect "Advantage" label was pasted on top of the correct "Professional" label. Bought these for my son. He’s a power lifter and rugby player. His thighs are HUGE. I bought him the 3XL (he can usually get away with XL in baggy sport shorts) after reading reviews. The thigh area couldn’t hold up to his build, even with stretch material These are nice shorts, but beware, if you have unusually large thighs, sizing up significantly probably won’t work. I have a pair of these shorts that are literally 10 years old and still in great shape. They are my absolute favorite short. I wanted another pair so I purchased these. Same size and everything. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, this pair is not a good fit. You can't squat in them. And definitely don't bend over in them. Such a bummer! ... show more
