This printer works great! I haven't had any issues with the wireless connection or with printing or scanning. It has never jammed and it prints good! I haven't had to buy any ink yet and it comes with a color cartridge and a black ink one. Depending on how much you use it depends on how long it will last. It tells you on your computer how low the ink is. Very durable and easy to set up on your computer with step by step instructions. It wasn't that expensive either! ... show more

    • Very happy so far
I’ve had this printer almost 2 months and haven’t had any problems. The setup went well. Used a QR code (received in the box) with my iPhone. It requires you to download the Canon print app from the App Store. I just followed all instructions and ran printer through my home WiFi. Now I can print from my phone and others phones in my household. Also laptop across the house found this printer easily and prints as expected. A nice feature I wasn’t expecting is leaving printer powered off, I can send something to print from laptop or phone and when I walk across the house to the printer, it has powered on and printed. The print quality is sharp and clear, speed is average. I didn’t get this for a busy office. More for occasional home projects/needs. I did buy extra ink cartridges initially, and after printing 70-80 pages in the first 7 weeks, I still haven’t replaced the initial supplied cartridges. Let’s hope the success continues! ... show more

Excellent printer for an excellent price. Great for printing return labels, and all that kind of stuff. Very easy to install, print quality is very nice, ink cartridges are not too expensive. Its a Canon! They make good stuff. *** Typically I will only update a review if a product "takes a turn for the worse" - however, I really feel the need to give an update on how this printer continues to surprise me. I have had this printer for almost 4 months now. It is still running on the original ink cartridge, it prints everything perfectly, and the print quality is exactly that same as it was from day one. I am really blown away by the performance of this printer, especially for the price. (Other models that scan, print, copy in color are twice as much.) I am seeing some other reviews, where people say they are having issues installing it, or maybe it stopped working after a day or two, and I understand that people can have "one off" issues, but I have had NO SUCH ISSUES. Nada, zilch, zero! If you are on the fence as to whether or not this is good printer or not, again, I have had it for 4 months and it works like a dream. Not a single complaint. ... show more

    • Nice printer; expensive ink
Printing are quick and good quality, especially for the price. Setup was trivial and the unit is compact. But the ink is expensive. Unlike some other printers, there are limited off-brand options and those aren't much cheaper than Canon brand. And the color is all within one cartridge, not separates, so if one runs out, you replace the whole thing. We don't use the printer much so it seems to be a good solution for us. But if you print a lot, maybe look elsewhere. ... show more

    • Printer is fine.... Canon is stupid.
I have been a Canon printer owner for decades. Just got this model. They put a sticker on the top of the printer promoting buying cartridges directly from Canon. That is where they make their money. That sticker peels off with some difficulty. But it does come off. The residue, however, cannot be removed. I have tried rubbing alcohol, vinegar, nail polish remover, GOOP, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser pads, a scraper, a razor blade. NOTHING REMOVES THIS GUNK. So now I have a brand new device in my office that is going to collect dust, lint and Golden Retriever fur. If Canon persists with this nonsense, this is the last product I will buy from them. ... show more

Good quality printing. Extremely lightweight. Worked with my phone well. Feel is mostly like plastic which makes very light weight. Takes specific refills be sure you check compatability if you use other economical priced refills, they are available just be careful to match the correct TR 7120 refill. ... show more
