Great Everyday Printer — Easy Setup and Excellent Print Quality
I’ve been really pleased with the Canon PIXMA TR7120. Setup was straightforward, and I was able to get everything connected and printing without spending forever figuring it out. What impressed me most is the print quality. Text comes out crisp and easy to read, while color documents and photos look clean and vibrant. It’s also nice having printing, scanning, and copying all in one machine without it taking up a huge amount of space. Wireless printing is a feature I use more than I expected. Being able to send something to the printer directly from my phone or computer makes it much more convenient for everyday use. A few things I especially like: • Crisp, professional-looking documents • Very nice color and photo quality • Convenient wireless printing • Easy-to-use controls • Print, scan, and copy functions in one machine • Compact enough for a home office Overall, the Canon PIXMA TR7120 has been a dependable, user-friendly printer that handles everyday printing really well. Easy Setup, and Macbook Pro / Apple Compatible
The Canon PIXMA TR7120 has exceeded my expectations so far. As someone who uses multiple Apple products, I really appreciate how easily it works wirelessly with my 16-inch MacBook Pro. Setup was extremely easy. Honestly, if you can program a contact into your cell phone, you should have no problem setting this printer up by following the instructions provided in the box and online. Everything was straightforward and took very little time. The scanning function works well, and the print quality is good for what I need. It's certainly not as fast or as high-quality as the commercial printer we have in our office, but those machines cost thousands of dollars. For a home printer and scanner handling everyday documents, forms, and basic printing needs, this seems like a great fit. The biggest question for me will be how long the included ink cartridges last. It does come with both black and color ink cartridges to get you started, which I wasn't initially sure about since Amazon recommends bundling additional ink with the printer at checkout. So, rest assured, you do receive ink in the box and can start printing right away. For typical smaller printing jobs around the house, I don't anticipate the included ink being an issue. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Canon PIXMA TR7120 so far. It's easy to set up, works seamlessly with my Apple devices, scans well, and produces good-quality prints without taking up a ton of space. For a home office or basic household printing needs, I'd definitely recommend it based on my experience so far.

Loving it
Works great! Replaced an old HP with this smaller unit as I didn't think we would need to print much. But then as soon as I bought it I had to print nearly 500 pages. Not a single jam. Did run out of ink but it was the starter pack they send. Great print quality for the price. Had it maybe 3 months now and have used it quite frequently. Easy to set up. I have the app but haven't used it yet . Paper holder is very very small with low capacity. Maybe 50-100 sheets? I'm sure it is in the description. Fine for everyday printing needs though. Easy to replace ink. Hasn't been "offline" while being on/asleep one time like old printer. Overall really pleased.

Impressive features and surprising print quality
It’s smaller than I expected, but it doesn’t lack in durability and quality. I luv luv luv its WiFi print capability, it has all the functions I need. It doesn’t have a fax capability, but who has a landline these days? The sharpness and color accuracy is impressive for how inexpensive it is. My only concern is the cost of the ink cartridges (which I don’t know yet). My previous Canon Pixma printers were so cheap, it actually cost LESS to buy a new printer than to buy the ink cartridges! The Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow inks are all contained in ONE cartridge. If I run out of one of the colors but still have plenty of the other colors available, I have to throw away the entire cartridge. But I don’t use it in a volume that this would be a deal breaker for me.

* * * Does not work with ARM processor! * * *
I bought this printer to replace an HP printer that was a hassle to connect to. I wanted a printer that would 1) handle legal-size paper, 2) print in color and b&w, 3) print double-sided/duplex, and 4) connect easily: "Just work". Without all those hassles of finding the right drivers, dealing with TCP/IP addresses, etc. And of those 4 requirements the last one - "easy connect" was the most important to me. To my horror I find that the printer simply can't/won't connect to my brand-new laptop which has an ARM processor. I can't use it at all! The problem in specific: Canon does not provide drivers for Windows 11 that work with a computer that uses and ARM processor. I understand loyalty to Intel and the x64 architecture. I'm partial to Intel myself, having worked for the company. I've been buying "Intel inside" for decades. But this time I'm going to travel some, and my use cases are different now. So to pick my PC I quickly researched available offerings and chose one that can run on battery for more than 24 hours. Which is great. My whole way of working has subtly changed, now. For whatever reason Canon fails to support this type of PC. Note to Canon: This type of PC is becoming increasingly popular, and, certain users (like me) with certain needs (like mine) will chose a PC with ARM architecture. Actually a certain type of "power user" will make this choice. (The ARM chip in my PC isn't particularly fast at performing computations, but there is a different kind of "power" in the ability to work for long periods without needing to be recharged.) The AI helper I queried about this says that the problem is well-known. Well, if it's well-known then Canon should fix it! This is more than a problem of just a missing printer driver. This is a problem with the Canon company/corporation itself. An effective, high-quality company is supposed to keep its eye on usage - and especially failures, "failure conditions", "failure modalities" out in the field. And then respond. In this case what Canon should do is write (or really, adapt) printer drivers that support the ARM architecture. There are many resources on-line that suggest various solutions to this problem. Using arcane terms and abbreviations that I have never heard of, or barely heard of. "Solutions" of the nature of "Go to menu X and do Y" but when you go to that menu you find several options, none equivalent to whatever the "solution" is telling you to do. None of the "solutions" work; they all end in failures of various kinds. I find myself back in "printer setup h**l" which is why I ditched my old HP printer that was famous for this kind of hassle. In other words the very thing I wanted most, this printer and this company fail to provide. I would give this printer 2 stars because - other than its complete failure to connect and print - it seems reasonably high-quality, though it's early days and I don't know how well it will hold up. Also my wife is able to connect to it from/using her computer (an older model, not ARM) and "happy wife, happy life". However, the Canon company's failure to do the right thing (write printer drivers that work with ARM-architecture) is downright offensive. They are being stupid and rude. This problem was predictable - it isn't like ARM architecture is new. ARM laptops run around 20% of shipments nowadays "According to data from market intelligence firms like TechInsights and Counterpoint Research". Canon should have kept this problem from happening in the first place. Therefore I rate this printer with 1 star.

Easy set up
This printer is excellent. Was easy to set up and use is seamless. The only problem was the ink cartridges that were paired with this printer were XL and will not fit in the printer. If you are going to pair something for you to buy with a product, it should be the correct one. I will have to return the XL ones.

It works.
Cheeply made, but surprisingly good and reliable. There is an inherent problem of loss the WiFi connection upon a restart. However, THERE IS A SIMPLE FIX BY ASSAIGNING A FIXED IP ADDRESS. Usually too hard for an average user to setup. But if you call a support of your internet provider, they will be happy to setup it for you. Most surprising improvement I have noticed, is that I no longer need to turn the page manually for duplex printing. O really it is a good buy an i highly recommend this.

High quality prints
The best printer purchase I’ve ever made. Canon has out done themselves! Pictures and text print vividly and clearly. Not once has it disconnected from my WiFi (unlike HP). It’s running well while connecting to Apple and PC devices. I’ve printed quite a few school items and still using the cartridges that were sent with it. This is definitely worth the money!
