Works great! Replaced an old HP with this smaller unit as I didn't think we would need to print much. But then as soon as I bought it I had to print nearly 500 pages. Not a single jam. Did run out of ink but it was the starter pack they send. Great print quality for the price. Had it maybe 3 months now and have used it quite frequently. Easy to set up. I have the app but haven't used it yet . Paper holder is very very small with low capacity. Maybe 50-100 sheets? I'm sure it is in the description. Fine for everyday printing needs though. Easy to replace ink. Hasn't been "offline" while being on/asleep one time like old printer. Overall really pleased. ... show more

Only have it a month or so but so far so good. Easy set up, nice compact footprint, prints like a printer should print. And can’t beat the price for duplex and other features.

I found this printer to be a decent wireless color printer at its price point. The Wi-Fi setup was easy in contrast to an older Epson printer that I have. It responds quickly via Wi-Fi to print requests. Print speed and copy speed is good along with print resolution. Too early to tell on ink usage, but I have another Canon printer that works great and is not bad on ink usage. ... show more

Printing are quick and good quality, especially for the price. Setup was trivial and the unit is compact. But the ink is expensive. Unlike some other printers, there are limited off-brand options and those aren't much cheaper than Canon brand. And the color is all within one cartridge, not separates, so if one runs out, you replace the whole thing. We don't use the printer much so it seems to be a good solution for us. But if you print a lot, maybe look elsewhere. ... show more

Easy peasy setup. Works just fine. Haven't had it long enough to know whether or not the ink lasts a long time or not. Still on the original start up set of ink. The color print was very nice. Will update if any problems but so far very impressed with my purchase.

Excellent printer for an excellent price. Great for printing return labels, and all that kind of stuff. Very easy to install, print quality is very nice, ink cartridges are not too expensive. Its a Canon! They make good stuff. *** Typically I will only update a review if a product "takes a turn for the worse" - however, I really feel the need to give an update on how this printer continues to surprise me. I have had this printer for almost 4 months now. It is still running on the original ink cartridge, it prints everything perfectly, and the print quality is exactly that same as it was from day one. I am really blown away by the performance of this printer, especially for the price. (Other models that scan, print, copy in color are twice as much.) I am seeing some other reviews, where people say they are having issues installing it, or maybe it stopped working after a day or two, and I understand that people can have "one off" issues, but I have had NO SUCH ISSUES. Nada, zilch, zero! If you are on the fence as to whether or not this is good printer or not, again, I have had it for 4 months and it works like a dream. Not a single complaint. ... show more

    • Huge Flaw
Looks good on paper then you realize this is a just below average printer. I wanted a decent printer, I don't do alot of printing, mostly scanning. I didn't want HP because of their awful cartridge subscription plan. But this printer has a major flaw. It has all the colors in one cartridge so if lets say the yellow runs out, you have to buy another cartridge even if the blue and red are full or have some left. Pros Easy set up (although took several attempts to get the printer to connect to the software) Auto doc feeder is decent Software for PC is good Easy quick wifi set up so dont need the phone app to print from phone or tablet. Scan quality is really good. Looks nice and modern (minus the tacky small screen) Cons Major one is if one color of the color cartridge runs out you have to buy a whole new one even if the other colors are full or have plenty left. This is wasteful and a sneaky way to get us to buy more ink. Auto doc feeder jams a lot even if the paper is perfect. If you do not print at least once a week the nozzles will clog. Printing is slow if need to print many pages. ... show more
