  • Definitely more Advanced than Intermediate
I ordered this because I wanted a copy of Canon in D that was not a duet and I love several of the other titles that were included. This music is definitely more advanced than intermediate, most people would balk at the key signatures on most of the pieces 4#s or 5 flats. The arrangements of some of the pieces are not my favorite either. It's a good collection of pieces for someone who is up to a challenge. ... show more

  • Nice collection of a baker's dozen of the greatest!
Great price for REAL music! The average musician and the pro will enjoy these. Remember, when learning a new piece - 5 times SLOW for every time 'a tempo' and if you make a mistake - back at 5x slow again!

  • Challenge for intermediate piano student
There's plenty for an intermediate piano student to master here: as approachabe as Fur Elise or considerably more difficult. Quality paper and sharp print.

  • A Masterful Collection of Classical Piano Solos for Advanced Pianists
If you are an intermediate or advanced level pianist, you might be interested in this collection of 13 lovely piano solos. Having learned multiple variations of Canon in D over the years, Schultz's transcription is one of my favorites to play. This book also includes the following 12 pieces: Adagio in G Minor - Tomaso Albinoni Ave Maria - Franz Schubert Clair de Lune - Claude Debussy Fur Elise - Ludwig van Beethoven Meditation (from Thais) - Jules Massenet Minute Waltz - Frederic Chopin Moonlight Sonata (First Movement) - Ludwig van Beethoven Polovetsian Dance (from Prince Igor) - Alexander Borodin O Mio Babbino Caro (from Gianni Schicchi) - Giacomo Puccini Prelude in C-Sharp Minor - Sergei Rachmaninoff Traumerei (Dreaming) - Robert Schumann Vocalise - Sergei Rachmaninoff ... show more

  • Enjoyable arrangements!
This is the first time I have purchased a piano book without first looking through it in a store - and I am very happy with it! This is great for an intermediate player - leaning toward advanced. I purchased the book for Canon in D, but I love all of the other songs included in the book as well. These arrangements are lovely. ... show more
