This book is not worth reading trust me! Just a book written by someone on a canoe trip in Canada. Not of any interest who does not live in the area as it cannot be applied to anywhere I've been in the UK. There's even a section on how to wash your dishes after camping, think I had that under control anyway... water & sponge job done. ... show more

I love this book! I lost it a couple of years ago but I'm about to order it again. picked it up at a canoe supply in canada when i was up there- it's compact but covers so much. recipes to shelter- i just found this book to be my fav of all the ones i've ever seen in bookstores in nyc etc. its written by a guy that guides so it's basically what he brings to throw a good time for his customers too. using your overturned canoe as a kitchen for example. fantastic. ... show more
