I was skeptical about getting my 7 year old daughter roller skates for a lot of reasons. Safety and fit being at the top of the list of my concerns. It was the only thing she asked for this Christmas though so we took a deep breath and decided to let Santa bring these for her. We opted for these adjustable skates even though I wasn't super convinced they'd actually adjust for such a range of sizes. They do! She has small feet, size 12.5/13, and these fit her perfectly when we adjust them to her size. My older daughter can even wear them at the larger size... She's getting her own pair with her gift cards because she likes her sister's so much! As far as safety goes, these seem to be about as safe as you can get. The laces secure very well. The toe stop is properly placed and she's easily getting the hang of how to use it. And the overall quality of the skates really is very good. She hasn't taken them off except to sleep since she got them on Christmas morning! So far, she has not worn them outside because she wants to find a gym or roller rink to practice in with them. But, she's skating all around our house with ease now. She has told us numerous times that these skates are the best Christmas gift she's ever received. As a bonus, her favorite color is yellow... I was so happy to find such a cute pair of skates with yellow as the main color! I would definitely recommend these if you have any reservations. The media could not be loaded. My daughter wanted to learn how to skate. Do I found these for her. They are so cute. They also have an inner boot that adjusts from size 3 to size 6, so you don’t have to keep buying more skates as frequently. She had them 2 weeks, practiced everyday and is now a pro.

What a hit! These were a gift for my 5-year old niece and she was super excited. There is an adjuster for fast growing feet means she will be able to enjoy these for a while before outgrowing them. Adjuster seems accurate to shoe size as well. Rolls great, and she was already getting the hang of skating with assistance. Future Roller derby champion in the making!
