Cookies just thrown in the box with other items crushing cookies. These are a gift and box has been dented and cookies damaged. Why can you not pack these in a box ? Cookies are good but this happened last time and Amazon assured me it would not happen again ☹️

I freaking love these things. Haven’t tried other brands because we went to Canada, got a box of these complementary from my husband’s work, and I am a fan. Only problem for me is they arrived for our Thanksgiving Day charcuterie board, and about 1/3 were broken beyond recognition. They are supposed to look like maple leaves, but they looked like crumbs with maple cream chunks casting about in the box. They still tasted great, so I “helped” by eating alllllll the broken pieces. A sacrifice, I know, I am magnanimous and selfless. They also go stale pretty quickly and get really soft, but I actually like them better that way because I can eat them faster. My husband disagrees, but I don’t care because that means i usually get to eat even more after he deems them unworthy of his particular palate. Get these, and harness your inner Canadian! Be overly polite about most things, but way too serious about hockey.

A truly delicious cookie! Crunchy and not overly sweet. I wish they were not so expensive.

Being a fan of all things maple, I fell in love with these cookies after I received a small package of them from friends who had just returned from Canada. Therefore, when the originals ran out, I ordered a larger box of them. Unfortunately, when I opened the box, I discovered that several of them had crumbled into tiny pieces, due to a fairly thin cookie box and a plastic insert that was falling apart at the bottom. The mailing box itself was secure, so I’m guessing it was thrown around in transit, damaging the cookies. I chose not to return them for replacement, as the cookies’ thin box would likely cause a follow-up shipment to be damaged as well. Instead, I stood over a sink for 15 minutes, picking tiny cookie bits from the container and ultimately salvaging about 15 complete cookies from the original 18, in addition to an impressive number of the aforementioned bits and crumbs. Again, the cookies themselves are marvelous—on a five-point scale, I’d probably give them a six! I simply regret that the item’s otherwise attractive packaging proved so flimsy through the mail, damaging some of the edible merchandise.

These are the best maple cookies from Canada, and I have tried them all. They have the most maple flavor. Two cookies were broken, but even the pieces were outstanding.
