They are a small family owned Spanish company that handcrafts their shoes in all kinds of recycled materials, fantastic fashions, and colors, and wearing them feels like you're walking around barefoot in the sand.     • Great light shoe, but why is the ankle so uncomfortable?

Update: After another week of wearing the shoes, the ankle softened and feels fine. They are super light shoes. I spent three weeks doing urban touring, averaging 10 miles a day. Cobblestones put some wear on the shoes but my feet were good. The cut of the ankle is awkward and sharp. I wish it was slightly lower, more padded, or that the stitching/seam was more outside the shoe rather than cutting into my ankle. I thought the shoes just needed to be broken in, but after a week of wear they are still bitting into my ankle bone, which is too bad because otherwise the shoes are great. Yet another shoe that fails to live up to the all around comfort of a Samba (and at three times the cost). ... show more

This is a very comfortable shoe with plenty of room for your toes. They was a little snug at first because the laces are elastic, but they eased up after wearing them a couple times - now great fit. I’ll be buying another pair in a different color.
