Easy to install multiple rows at once
Item Package Quantity: 900
Review Image by Dennis B. Rochier
I used these to install composite decking on my 400 square foot deck. The cedar was weathered and needed replacement but the frame was still in excellent shape. Having used hidden fasteners previously, I shared the experience of others with the fasteners falling out or not matching up with the next deck board. These worked great and while I did occasionally lose one, the vast majority of them remained in place unless I bumped them with my knee. This was a huge time save and less expensive than the name brand fasteners the building supplier tried to sell me. I estimate I saved about $500 on a 400 square foot deck replacement project. Working alone, I was able to install up to four rows at a time. The final gaps are consistently even as you can see from the photo of my finished project. The final appearance is highly professional. The boards are very secure and appear to be stable for years to come. ... show more

Great clips
Item Package Quantity: 90
I compares the camo wedge clips, camo X-wedge and the trex clips on Trex decking. Hands down the wedge clips were the easiest to use. Wedge pretty much stay put when you place them, the x-wedge seemed annoying having to pinch both sides to slide in, would fall out during adjustments, would push the boards apart if tightened too much, lastly the tree clips would just fall right out after placement. Don’t do what I did ordering the bare minimum, because you know Murphys and will always need extra. (Shipping time could have been better but happy to find a vendor.) ... show more

Works Well!
Item Package Quantity: 900
Purchased the 900 ct. of this product to install my deck make-over. I liked the fact that you could install a row of clips and they stayed in place to align the boards. The only problem is that they can get knocked out very easily while aligning the boards. If you're doing an elevated deck, you best have a bunch on you to replace them! I also found that they went in well when using the proper torque setting on your drill. Coming out is the issue. I had to remove a few boards once installed to readjust and I had issues with the screws stripping out. Had to stop and cut out the old ones. ... show more

Best Deck Clip after lots of research
Item Package Quantity: 900
This clips are awesome. They give you a consistent 3/16 th gap between boards. If you install them straight up, some will tend to fall out. The trick is to slant them forward a little so the other side goes in the groove of the next board. As you screw them down they straighten up and then down to the joist. Use these deck clips and you will be happy you did. They are pricey but worth it as you do your project much easier than other clips. ... show more
