The media could not be loaded. This is a carbon fiber camera slide by Zecti, and it's a winner. This should be your first slider to get your feet wet in video creation. It's simple to setup and operate, while still being good enough to improve your hobby/craft. The build is robust and solid, especially the carrier mount plate setup...might say overbuilt. The tracking on mine is buttery smooth, and I was able to push the camera manually from side to side with enough precision so it doesn't look like I am doing it manually. With all things, practice makes perfect. I had a large ball head attached with my full frame Sony camera with an attached all metal Voigtlander 65mm lens. The slide had zero trouble handling the weight. This slider is a great place to start. I doubt you will find one better built for the coin being asked. You want more...then you will have to pay more. This is a great value. Recommended.

Hello fellow photography junkies, i bought this about a month ago and i have been using it regularly in some pretty harsh environment's, mostly having to carry it through thick tropical jungle and swamp for documentary films. This track is strong but I wouldn't push it's limits. even with just a Nikon D3200 and small shotgun mic the track begins to bend if you move the camera from side to side, but that can easily be fixed if you have something to put under each side of the track. All in all its a great track for the price, it stops when you want it to stop and it goes when you want it to go. So yep it's a usable pease of equipment. Hope this helps.

I put this slider into use the very next day and I am VERY pleased with its performance. It is incredibly light and has enabled me to grab my shots quickly while providing pleasing visuals. The tracks and wheels are very smooth! Initially I was concerned that 24" would not provide enough range to establish movement in my shots, but not anymore. It does the job beautifully. I often work in environment with tight office spaces and this little gem seems to squeeze in everywhere. I have used it with a Sony HXR-NX70U and a GoPro and the rails handle both without bending. Construction feels sturdy. I have a compact lightweight tripod with a fluid head and that completes the package nicely. We also shoot with Cannon DSLR's and a Canon C300. The C300 is the heaviest camera we use, and I have yet to try it on this slider. I would buy this again.

I purchased this slider for time lapse photography. My 48” DIY slider weighs 8 lbs. and is challenging to carry in the mountains. This slider is super lightweight and fits into a backpack (Or straps to the outside). I appreciate the 18 lb. capacity because my Syrp Genie 3-axis setup and camera weigh 10lbs. Mounted on a sturdy tripod there is no discernible flex in the carbon fiber rods from end to end. With the 24” length the functional slider distance is actually 18”. I made a slight modification using the 1/4” hole on each end to mount a small strip of aluminum to raise the ropes for the Genie unit up an inch for a smoother glide near the ends. My hope is this slider is durable over long term use. I highly recommend this product.

Overall, it's a great slider. It's smooth, compact, comes with a case, has multiple threading options, and little feet. I have two issues with this... the first is that the tightening knob for locking it down is finicky. What I mean is that if you tighten it down too much, the screw will unthread itself from the knob, and you'll end up just taking the knob off instead of loosening the actual stopper. It took a bit of retooling to get it back together and functioning again, and now I have to be careful with how tightly I crank down the stopper. The second issue is that I wish you could use the aforementioned stopper to control how slow/loose the slide moved. You basically have it wide opened or locked down, and you control it all by hand. I wish it had some resistance settings for a bit better/smoother control of the slides.

Purchased the slider for some projects. For the most part, it works. However, the rails are not true. The mid section of the rails seems to be slightly bowed causing the mount to slow down and interrupt the flow when gliding across full length of the slider. I’ve been using mostly just half of the length for my project to avoid the bowed area. I will test it out few more times, before I decide to keep it. For the $, its not too bad... but i am concerned about its ability to hold true parallel rails over time as mid section is bowing already after only two usage.

Love the quality of the material! Comes with a bag where you can just put all the stuff in and store it somewhere after use, extremely easy to use as well Really happy with this purchase and will be using this for sometime until I have enough to get the one that is motorized, definitely recommended

A fairly short manual slider that is well-built. Great for product broll, but not really useful for interviews or anything that needs to show a larger range of movement.
