  • Not bad
Good: Novel, flexible design. Takes a while to get all the straps properly adjusted, but once they're there they stay in place. Comfortable and secure once everything is adjusted. Bad: It's nice that you can unsnap the wrist strap at either end, but as the snaps are load-bearing I'm concerned about their durability - will they stay solidly fastened after repeated use? A single quick-release buckle might have been a better choice here. Also, the strap is going to be difficult to remove from the camera - the bottom plate screws into the tripod mount which is great, but the top one has to be unthreaded from the camera's strap loop to remove it, which means it has to be rethreaded and readjusted each time. Not good. I'm getting Altura's quick-release shoulder strap (which clips to that otherwise-annoying right-angle bracket on the bottom plate,) and I suspect I'll be using it more than the wrist strap for this reason. Bottom line: It isn't perfect, but looks like it'll be a useful addition to my camera bag. Five stars. ... show more

  • Really works
After trying several modes for taking my pictures (in. urban), this gadget is the best camera carry; why not use the neck sling? Two reasons: 1. With a big lens, the camera weighs a lot -which doesn't matter if it just hangs from my hand, and 2. Fast response to take the picture when it is happening. If I am moving and need to put the camera away, I have been better off with a full sling back with camera access than with the neck strap. ... show more

  • It does come loose!
I bought this so I could get a better grip on my camera and leave it at hand, which is what this is supposed to be for. It would be nice, though, if you could still have a neck strap in addition because sometimes you need your hand during a long photo shoot. Be aware, that if you do not constantly check, the strap can come loose at the screw in site. I noticed mine was completely off just in time to keep it from crashing to the ground. As long as you continually check it, it's fine. But, should you forget, you might have a real problem. Not a huge fan, but still use it for some events. ... show more

  • Didn’t fit eyelet BUT
This is exactly what I needed. So comfortable and secure. The strap feeding into the eyelet on my Canon EOS R50 was too big so I had to trim it down. To double-ensure security, I placed a drop of Loctite Super Glue in the buckle after securing the length to fit. I highly recommend this strap. You can make it work and it’ll be worth the effort! ... show more
