Easy installation, perfect fit for the d850. The grip is better in this brand than other cheaper ones. For everyday use the textured finish gives that better grip. I would only consider the other cheaper ones if you are going to use your camera for dusty environments where the plain finish would probably be easier to clean. That doesn't mean this one doesn't protect the camera, it's actually made of a thicker material than the other brands and will be more impact resistant. All the buttons are clearly marked except for the two memory card format buttons you just have to remember the other function. I like the fact that the bottom is mostly clear and open enough for the large tripod mounts. Overall it's probably the best investment you can do to protect your camera. I installed a silicone skin on my previous model d600 and it's still looking like new after over 21000 pictures. ... show more

Out here in the Texas Panhandle the sun can get blazing hot. As a landscape photographer I'm out in all kinds of weather and my D850 can get really hot, too hot to comfortably touch sometimes. And I'm sure that's not good for the innards, either. So, I decided to give this silicone cover in white a try and I'm happy to say that it works really well. The fit is a good as I could expect. All the hatches are accessible. I do use an L-bracket and may decide to trim just a little to make it fit around that better. I think the cover even makes the body a bit more comfortable to hold and less slippery. So, for the money it's a good buy. ... show more

Awesome shell for my D850. I feel like my camera is protected with this camera case on. The case is well-made and the buttons align perfectly with the buttons underneath. Only negatives are that it adds a tiny bit of bulk, and the dial on the top left-hand side is really hard to turn and get to the right setting. I put it on and did my best to pull and tug it into place. Many of the buttons are covered and directions say you should cut the material as required to allow those buttons through. Some of the openings were gaping. All in all, very cheap looking cover. Upon reflection, I decided that I didn’t want my Nikon 850 to be in makeshift clothing so I removed it and don’t plan to use it. ... show more

It was fairly easy to put on my camera Nikon D850. I like to go to the beach so it helps keep sand out, plus doing dog pictures, they tend to be curious about the camera and can knock it out of my hands, but this case helps me keep a good hold on it and no damage when dogs get crazy playful. Wish I'd bought it sooner and avoided a few dog teeth marks on my camera. Worth the buy! ... show more

Works really well and is very easy to put on. Provides secure grip, with no looseness anywhere. It definitely gives me the feeling my camera now has better protection. Very good value for the money. Definitely recommend. The case shows where the buttons are in the back of the camera, but does not show you the writing for each button. So if you're not very familiar with the camera, make sure that you learn what each button does before you put on the case. However the buttons on the front of the camera all have cutouts, so they are not an issue. Also, if you are using the additional battery/vertical grip attached to the bottom of the camera, then this case will not work for you. For me the above are not really issues, but I thought I would share them in case anyone has questions. After buying this case for my D850, and seeing how well it worked, I bought another one for my D500. So I very much like this product. ... show more

Just appreciate that the design (as with competitors) requires you to remove the camera strap to put the cover on. You then have to reconnect the strap.
