I like the bottle. I owned an older version from 10 or 15 years ago and they work great, and this newer model has some improvements. The water spout is larger so more water comes out. I like the lock. I like spraying water into my mouth from an arm's length away and not missing my mouth. However, they are a pain to clean. The top has multiple small parts that could separate in the dishwasher, so I have to put the small parts in the basket. They aren't always easy to reassemble, and require some wrestling. The bottle itself says it isn't dishwasher safe, but I'm ignoring the warning and running it through the dishwasher anyway. In comparison, the old model could just be thrown in the dishwasher, top and bottom, with nothing to disassemble. I don't know if the functionality is worth the pain of cleaning. I kind of want my old bottles back. And....here's my last complaint. They couldn't put the washing instructions on the tag. They had to put a link to the web site, where the video was buried multiple layers in. However, they still didn't explain how to wash this specific bottle. I finally had to youtube it. I spent 30 minutes figuring out how to properly clean the bottle when it should have been a 2 second read on the tag. ... show more

This bottle sweats a ton if you use ice. I have it leaking all over the floor when I am on my indoor bike. It squeezes nicely and they closure works good.
