This is a replacement for a much used and abused "original" Forge, which hit the concrete one too many times after years of service. The new cup is a 16 oz. size, "Dune" color (if that matters), and I have had it for a couple of weeks. I like it a lot -- my go-to travel coffee cup. It keeps coffee hot for a couple of hours -- my coffee is all gone by then. It is great for ice water -- and seems to keep that cold even longer than hot liquids. The lock-open feature is a slide on the open trigger. That is WAY better than the original's method. At first, I did not like the rubber non-slip pad on the bottom, but after a few weeks it seems like a nice feature. The finish seems durable, but time will tell. Overall, completely satisfied! My husband is a pilot, his coffee cup must be spill proof. It must also fit into a specific holder, no room for an oversized cup. He has used the old style camelback coffee cup for ages, this is the new and improved version. Boy is it! He loves it!

I like that this mug comes with a built in handle on the lid, making it easy to carry. I also like that the lid has a button that you can lock to stay open for frequent sips. My coffee stays warm for hours; I usually get to work around 9:30, and if I haven't finished my coffee before noon, it's still warm. It's easy to clean, and I like the sleek look of it. ... show more

I don't blame the seller. Camelbak used to make excellent travel mugs. They made changes in the pour/sip design that have essentially changed this product from a travel mug to a prank dribble cup. The seller was excellent, though. They have no control over Camelback's failures.

I got this cup because many cups are fat and do not fit all car cup holders. Plus I like the feel of the cup in my hand. It keeps ice overnight and coffee hot for hours, longer when you use the easy to use lid. And it fits in my Kurig!

I have the older version that works great, when deciding to buy a new one I read a lot of reviews of how these new cups leak. Mine doesn’t leak. Just make sure you don’t keep the lid in the open setting and expect it not to leak when turning it upside down.
