I got these to work with an older Eddy Kids bottle. However: (1) The new straw (and hole in the bite valve for the straw) is a larger diameter. So you need to use the new straw with the new bite valve. (2) I needed to cut a tiny bit off the end of the straw so it didn't need to be at a steep angle to be able to drink. Sharp scissors with a lot of pressure did the trick, although it was slightly jagged. I may take a metal file to it. But I've needed to do that before, especially with replacement straws. (3) I also needed to cut a slit in both bite valves. Carefully with the tip of a small knife. They came completely sealed, and wouldn't let any liquid though. I took one star off for annoyances #2 and #3. Works great though. I ended up replacing the old bite valve as the hole had enlarged so it dribbled at times. Now, no dribbling, plus I have a replacement for if it happens again! Be sure to use a straw brush in both the straw and bite valve, as these get moldy easily. Also, use a bottle brush to clean the inside of the bottle. Both with dish soap. I found shaking soapy water in the bottle wasn't enough, and a film built up over time. Didn't want to risk putting it in the dishwasher with the printed design on the outside. ... show more

It fit perfectly I'm so glad i read the reviews i honestly didn't know there were two different sizes we have the CamelBak Eddy+ so momma's please pay attention i don't want a momma making a mistake and getting the wrong part and wasting money on a part. I tell my husband I'm invested in my son's sippy cup lol we paid $15 so it's pretty cool that i can buy the parts to the cup which is absolutely leak proof!! I love my son's cup it's the only leak proof cup and I will spend money on keeping it that way! Lol. I've spent money on sippy cups that claim to be leak proof and are not. Anyway the part fit and it arrived in perfect timing it also came with two extra straws which is awesome and the price is amazing! ... show more

Mouthpiece fits perfectly. Note that the straw diameter is larger than the original. It does not matter though because both pieces are included and can be replaced together....just something to be aware of.

One mouthpiece was fully closed. I had to use a knife to make a slit!! As many reviewers have commented, the straws were too long and I had to chop the bottom off so that i could close the lid easily. Didn't think the replacement would need so much diy.

For anyone that was just as confused as I was about the two different Camelbak ‘replacement kids Eddy bite valve’ options- here you go. The 4 pack of colorful replacement valves do fit the 14oz bottles I have, BUT the straw hole is not as large. As you can see in the pictures, you can shove the original straw in there, but it easily pops out as the kids throw them around. These replacement valves have the same bore of hole and interestingly come with replacement straws. The straws are a tad long as you can see in the pictures, but you can cut to fit. I feel like these bite valves should come in a 4 pack with no straws and the colorful pack should come with straws. Or Camelback just needs one standard straw size. Either way, this was a lot less stressful and I didn’t have to go hunting for new straws since it came with it unlike the colorful pack. I would just buy this one! Hope this helps! ... show more
