This is eddy+, and comes with the triton renew label that means it is now made with 50% recycled material. Everything else is the same -BPA free, they kept the same kid friendly handle design and best of all, the bite valve used in its predecessor eddy fits in this newer model. So if you were bought extra OEM bite valves in packs of 6 or so for your older eddy bottles like I did as the kids can chew them open, you will find that they fit these new eddy+ bottles if you change out the bottles. However, you will have to use the straws that came with those older bite valves. The bite valves for eddy+ are on the surface, similar but the straw insert area is much larger and uses a wider diameter straw. So u can't mix and match straws and bite valves between old and new so don't be too quick to throw out the straws (if good) when replacing the bite valves. The screw top is a little deeper so it is harder to clean but not a deal beaker for me. Overall, Camelbak kept the usual array of cute and attractive designs for girls and boys. They are sturdy and last for a while, save for scratches but I assign blame on my kids for that (!). Note that Camelbak have phased out the eddy on their website so eddy+ may be the only model you can get going forward or find the remaining eddy on Amazon.

No matter what I do, the straw easily comes off and is floating in the bottle. Purchased this for daycare, and after we saw the teachers using their fingers to reinsert the straws (they later told us they do this throughout the day for our kid & the other 2 kids bottles like this in class). We decided it was too much of an unnecessary infection risk & removed the straw. He is able to throw his head back to “chug” it and it works. Not what I had in mind when I purchased this product. I do like you can replace the mouth piece when it wears out. We threw away one bottle with a great straw system bc the mouth piece part couldn’t be removed to clean & became moldy in areas we couldn’t reach. No clear cut perfect bottle choices out there that I’ve found yet. Weigh your options. Hope this helped!

I’m leaving this review because this is what I wanted to know before I bought it: YES, this water bottle fits in the cup holders of the Graco 4ever DLX car seat! No problems with leaking. The straw has never fallen out. The plastic holds up to drops and falls (unlike stainless water bottles which my toddler dents). The handle makes it easy to carry. He used to need help opening up the spout, but at 21 months can now open it by himself. 14 oz is the perfect size—not too big or small. I also like that there’s no lid to lose or break like some sippy cups we’ve had. I’ll be buying again.

My daughter takes these to preschool everyday. They are so cute and easy for her to use. I’ve read a lot of reviews about cleaning them/ mold, etc. You HAVE to pull the bite valve out and take it a part – it takes a little getting use to but is easy once you get the hang of it. I put everything on the top rack of the dishwasher with the small parts in a little bin. I haven’t had any issues. They’ve held up very well and no signs of mold or anything like that. I highly recommend these. We have broken 2 of them (in the past) just from my daughter dropping them on the playground and cracking the bottom open but that’s to be expected with a toddler. Note: the teal bands in the picture are not a part of the water bottle. They are my daughter name bands for school. I also recommend those from inch bug.

I’m sure like most of us moms, I have tried a countless amount of cups for my littles. We stuck with the munchkin 360 cups for awhile, but the mold build up and tearing of the lids was aggravating- plus they’re definitely not leak proof. My littles are 3.5 and 2, and they both LOVE these straw cups. I love how sturdy these cups are - no leaks and we have been using for over a month! I love that the straw design is a great way to help my children consume water, I love that they’re 14 oz, my children go through at least a few refills a day! They’re not impossible to clean, I find it easy to pop out the bite valve and the straw. Some reviewers said the straw kept falling out - that’s happened maybe once or twice, and it’s an easy fix.. nothing that has been overly frustrating. I am back for more, so I can finally get rid of the clutter of useless sippies ! (These also fit in car seat cup holders!)

Bought these for our grandkids who are almost 2 and 4 years old. I have bought just about every kind of sippy cup or water bottle out there in search of the one that actually works, and this one finally fits the bill. It is very well worth the money because with all of the other styles we have tried, either parts wear out and can't be replaced, they leak if they get dropped, or they are difficult for little hands to use. This water bottle tackles all of these issues! The little loop on the top of the water bottle is great for little hands to hold onto, as well as making it easy for adults to transport from activity to activity. They don't leak, and they come apart easily to put in the dishwasher to clean! Plus, the straws, and mouthpiece parts that usually wear out quickly, have replacement parts available. We have been using them for weeks now and so far they are showing no signs of wear! You will not regret spending a little extra to get a good quality water bottle for your little ones!

I can't even count how many camelbak bottles I've purchased over the years. I tried so many different kinds as my daughter was growing up into a toddler, now that she's a preschooler she's always had one of these. Even her 12m old brother uses these and he learnt how to use a spout and a straw pretty quickly. They are pretty leakproof but I remember that one of her camelbak bottles started to leak (Guess something broke in the lid) I should mention that it is absolutely essential that you clean the spout and the straw from the inside with a tiny brush because it collects a lot of bacteria it and it can get very gross very quickly.
