My 3-year-old daughter picked out the dinosaurs in space pattern of this CamelBak Eddy+ 14 oz kids' water bottle for preschool. When we opened the box, her whole face lit up! The dinos are very cute and engaging. The water bottle is a good size to fit on her backpack. It will hold a bit more than the average juice box. The only interesting thing is that you have to kind of bite down on the spout to get it to dispense the drink. Because of this, I don't recommend putting carbonated drinks in this water bottle - I tried some La Croix and it sort of exploded out of the spout the first time she tried to drink it. I've had a couple of Camelbak products in my life, but this is the first one I've bought for any of my children. My toddler was outgrowing most of her toddler-like sippy cups, and this seemed a good quality next step up (and potentially handy for camping). I love the cute butterfly motif, but this works very well. It's insanely leak-proof, and my daughter quickly figured out how to use it. My sons school requires clear only water bottles. This is a great option! Very easy to clean. Super affordable. I like that the straw is wide so it’s even easier to clean. We haven’t had any spills or leaks. Absolutely would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. (Update) I googled that my new CamelBak Eddy+ wasn't working and found this: The self-sealing silicone can sometimes seal tightly in transit. To open it up, squeeze the bite valve and twist & roll between your fingertips (soaking the bite valve in tea temperature water beforehand may help). I soaked it under warm water and tried this. It didn't work right away but after a few tries of rolling and squeezing, it worked! I added pictures to show the open valve. So glad it works now. My daughter is now happily drinking from her new bottle. Still no leaks. 😊👍 It looks very cute. My 4 year old picked it and loved it as soon as she saw it. I washed it and poured water. She went to try it and nothing. I tried as well following the flip, bite, sip instructions like it says but nothing. I think there is no hole in the spout. I believe I got a defective one. I'm not sure whether I should poke a hole and see if that works or if I should just return it. I'll update this review once I decide. ... show more
