We’ve had some version of this water bottle now for 3-4 years and all my kids use them. They are easy enough for them to open and close (for sure by age 4, but maybe by 3) but they don’t leak. The lid is one piece and the bottle is the only other part so it’s easy to wash. I throw them in the dishwasher daily and the graphics still look great. The only thing that would make them better would be if it was insulated, but I know that’s like asking bf or the moon;) ... show more

These are well made bottles, but I have two issues with them. First, the magnetic part that keeps the tethered cap from slapping around is unnecessary. Though it's not hard to brush it off, the magnet will attract ferrous materials such as iron in the dirt. (See third photo). Second, under the small tethered cap and under the large cap that screws onto the bottle, there are rubber gaskets. These gaskets are very difficult to remove and clean. You couldn't even get a small brush in there to clean it. Ideally, gaskets like these are removed and cleaned when the bottle is cleaned. After a short while, it will grow all sorts of microbes in and around the area. Nalgene bottles don't use gaskets and they don't leak. Why do these have gaskets, CamelBak? ... show more

No gross germs/ slime stuck in straws or spouts. This is easy to clean!!! Only thing is my daughter thinks it’s closed when it’s not all the way closed- we’re working on it. Great quality. Would recommend!

After one month of usage, I love this bottle and my kid loves it as well. However, the hinge of the white plastic connecting the cap and the bottle breaks today and I have to remove the broken pieces in case of finger cuts. Hopefully, my kid remembers to put the cap on every time he finishes. Chances are, I will have to purchase it again. Not sure if customer service can help with it or warranty covers it or not. ... show more
