Have owned Camco sidewinders in the past. Bought an additional trailer, which means having to provision the second with some 'essentials'. If you're going to use any type of full hookups, you're going to need some of these. Can't tell you how many times I see sewer lines just laying on the ground. Last thing you want to deal with in your travels is manually holding the hoses while performing the 'duty duty'. Sidewinders provide a gradual slope to take the effluent gently from your holding tanks to the drain. Even if you're at a site for only a day or two, these are quick to put up, and put away.
