Its not really a lock, more like a latch. Between the two size paddles its fairly versatile, just be sure youre in the right size range. Seems sturdy and simple to install (with the right size hole saw). Will see how it holds up.

My outdoor sprinkler control box had a keylock, but I couldn't find a key for it and it kept coming open. This one fit right in, however I did have to take the tang off the old one since both of the supplied ones were too long. No problems switching it out and installing it.
