These sandals are beautiful and classy, however, please go a size up if you have thicker/ wider feet and want some comfort when wearing these sandals. They do fit but they fit really tight like shoes because they don’t have much width. If you have slim feet then you won’t have this problem but I have wide feet and I wear a size 10 which I bought. The length is fine but the width is not great. I had a hard time getting the left foot on. Regardless of that I’m in love with these. Haven’t worn them yet but I will soon so I can get them to stretch a little. I can’t comment on how strong they are but they didn’t arrive with any factory faults so I’m excited about that.
