Honestly a great starter set and great for the value the only issue i would say is definitely the driver performance, although it does have a lot of forgiveness it does have its flaws of being damaged easily I got nervous while the set was being delivered just because of all the reviews I read about the head and/or shaft breaking easily which did not happen but it did dent pretty easily. While at the range with this set is when it did dent but no breaks but that could change when I go play a 9 hole in about 2 weeks and take it to the range this weekend who knows, but its very good i believe you just cant do anything stupid with the driver. Moving onto the wedge/irons, they are amazing very good faces grooves are amazing and honestly some of the best feeling irons I have hit along with the wedge I would say the same thing, moving onto the putter it is basically a slab of metal put onto a steel shaft but it performs great and has no issues and one club I forgot to mention was the 5H which is your classic 5H and performs amazing, and one last thing is the bag which is also just a good bag has pockets for all needs and the stands work great! Overall a great beginner set would definitely recommend it for starters and it is definitely a bang for your buck! ... show more

These are good clubs for the price and I got them for my son when he started Golf. The only problem I note is many beginner sets will give you 4 odd numbered irons. But the strata does not it gives you 9 8 7 6 . There's a lot of utility in having a three iron. So that's the only shortcoming that I see in this beginner set. ... show more

I bought 7 sets of these clubs and, due to poor quality, not one bag is still complete after less than 3 months. Every one has at least one club broken. This was not due to bad golfers or swings. In most cases the head (especially on the drivers) just fell off after a solid hit. I know these are not named brand clubs and are mostly for beginners but that's even more reason why they should be durable. Over $2,000.00 wasted! DO NOT BUY! ... show more

From the item description of the Calloway Strata 9 piece set , a person would assume that means 9 golf clubs. Obviously that isn't the case with these golf clubs sold by Amazon. I recieved a driver, 3 wood, putter. 5 iorn, 7 iron and a sand wedge. If my count is right that is 6 clubs. Well the other 3 pieces turns out the head covers for the driver and 3 wood. The bag counts as the 9th piece. I spent 350$ on an incomplete beginners golf set. I can't really begin because I dont have all the clubs you would need to play complete golf game. The clubs are nice dont get me wrong but the item description should be more detailed and not so vague. I could have bought a complete full set from a different company for less money. But I am a loyal Amazon customer so I spent my money here. I feel like Amazon should do something to make this right. ... show more
