Received my much anticipated Mavrik Max 3 Wood, ordered through Amazon, to go with the rest of my Mavrik Max golf clubs...the head cover is for a different club. This really disappointed me as I really went all out investing in a quality set of clubs. Like the gentleman that posted before me (he didn’t receive a head cover for his), come on Callaway, you can do better than that! ... show more

I've had 4 different taylormade 3 woods and this maverick max is by far the easiest to hit. I can hit it off the ground or tee it up and it goes straight and far!!!

So, this is my first fairway wood, a3, so don't expect me to be particularly knowledgeable. I used this for two courses so far and for me, it was great because I could hit the ball 200 yards and shorten my par5s. I really think it gets under the ball well with the design of the face. HArd contact on ball i feel like there isn't much spin to either side. Build quality seems good, I'm relatively new and kind of just felt like Callaway was legit. ... show more
