I have used California Olive Ranch Olive Oil for several years now, and think it is a great all round usage olive oil.

California has at least one great law which says if it is labeled olive oil, it must be actual olive oil and it's certified by various organizations. Also, California Olive Ranch indicates on each container the origin of said oil. Unlike a lot of the adulterated oils out there that are cut with canola or other oils, this oil is the real deal and, it's more affordable than many other pure olive oils. The taste is a grassy, pepper-y true EVOO. I keep it stored in a dark cabinet in a cooler area of the kitchen and it lasts quite awhile.

I couldn’t find this California Ranch olive oil which is 100% California in the stores in this size. Amazon came through with the product. I’ve been using this for years and the taste, cooking ability and quality is great! It’s a great value for the money.

I love this sprayer! It does exactly what I was expecting - it sprays olive oil in a nice mist pattern. I formerly poured oil out of the bottle as carefully as I could. More often than not however, more olive oil came out than I wanted. This resulted in a BIG waste of oil. I primarily use olive oil in our salads, and there was a lot of oil at the bottom of the bowl. Now, with this sprayer, I am able to control the amount of oil that comes out easily. I do not doubt that, over time, we will have saved enough oil, and therefore the cost of the wasted oil, to pay for this sprayer.

This and 'Coburn Estate' are the best 100% California olive oil available. This one is 100% California, but the other 'California Olive Ranch' product is NOT. So read the small print !

Amazon Fresh was the cheapest I could find for this product; it was significantly more expensive in the grocery store. I appreciate that it is only made with California olives, which are some of the best in the world and also the safest to purchase given all the fraud with "high end" olive oil. The flavor is very mild, which surprised me (I was expecting fruity or grassy as the more expensive ones are). The spicy kick on the back of the palate tells me this is a real product though. 5/5 stars

When I originally started using California Olive Ranch Olive Oil it was because the olives came from a single source, plus that source was domestic which meant less costly. Domestic Single Source Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Nice! Since that time, they have replaced the single source with various blends from multiple sources. I accidentally, bought those blends for a while, not paying attention, thinking I was getting my usual single-source oil until I realized that something was amiss. What was on the store shelves where the single source oil used to be were multiple source blends from the same company, California Olive Ranch. I then came to realize that the single source oil had become a thing of the past. Too bad. That was the reason for buying their olive oil in the first place. Good olives. Good oil. All from the one reliable location. Now what I am using is not single source, but as close as it is going to get for a while it would appear. Rather than a blend of olives from all over the place, this is just from California. Not from a single source as it once was, but narrowed considerably to just California. I have yet to find a single source replacement for the old California Olive Ranch single source oil. If I do I will switch from this one instantly. But in the meantime, it is infinitely better than a blend from multiple sources, something I have devoted years going out of my way to avoid. When California Olive Ranch had its single source oil it was ideal. I would have thought they would have done everything in their power to maintain that level of greatness. But evidently that was not part of the business model and those days are gone. If you want a single source decent-quality olive oil, I recommend California Olive Ranch 100% California, for now. Not single source, but as close as you'll find for the time being.
