I'm not super picky about sheet softness but I do care about 100% cotton. These sheets fit my bed nicely and really do feel softer after a few washes. They hold up well and are a good budget purchase. If you really care about sheets being super soft, you may not like these as much.

You need to wash these sheets before using them. That releases the softness. They are not thick heavy sheets, but very comfortable and worth the price ($29,99) as far as I am concerned. I imagine that washing weekly I will get 6 months out of them. That's $5/month so I can live with that. They are cotton, however, very thin and they do wrinkle. Also they 'SMELLED" of incense from India which took me washing them in hot water twice to get rid of the odor. If you happen to have a blanket with a pattern on top of the sheet; the sheet will 'form' to the pattern - that is how thin they are. I should have returned them but I was in short supply due to another set having issues. So I kept it but I will not buy them again. And they do get softer the more you wash them but these will be my backup sheets.... ... show more
