Description
What's the difference between percale and sateen cotton sheets, and which is better for hot sleepers? Percale is crisp and light; sateen is silky with sheen. This Super Soft set combines both feels without a break-in period, making it comfortable from night one. What are the best cotton sheets for someone who sleeps hot or lives somewhere warm? Warm sleepers do better with lightweight cotton than dense, high-count sateen. This Super Soft set runs lighter than our 400 or 600 TC sateen and dries faster after washing — useful if you're rotating sheets often through summer months. What kind of cotton sheets work best for a kids' room or a guest bedroom? Kids' rooms and guest beds need a sheet that's forgiving from day one. This Super Soft set feels soft on the first wash rather than after months of use, and comes in every standard bed size for easy matching across rooms. Is a higher thread count cotton sheet set always a better choice than a lower one? No — thread count measures yarn density, not comfort. A higher-count sateen can feel heavier and glossier than many shoppers want daily. This Super Soft set is built lighter and soft immediately, without chasing a bigger number on the label. Do lightweight cotton sheets hold up as well over time as heavier ones? Yes — a well-made lightweight cotton sheet holds its shape and color for years with regular washing, same as a heavier set, as long as it's 100% cotton rather than a poly blend. It just won't carry a heavier sateen's dense hand-feel.

Lovely!
Size: Full
Color: 20 - Butter
These sheets are lovely. They're high quality and a good value for the price. I appreciate the many color choices and the fact that they're made of cotton. I especially appreciate the variety in the available sizes. I have a "full" or "double" bed and sheets in that size are hard to find. These fit perfectly!

Great for the price
Size: Queen
Color: 01 - Bright White
I've reviewed comments for everything from the least expensive to the most, and all have the similar number of negative responses referring to things like sand paper rough, loose threads, tearing, wrinkled, never buy again...you name it, there are always a certain % of people that for some reason are just upset at the world. This sheet set, all of $31, fit my needs perfectly. Nice substantial elastic all around, pockets deep enough to fit my 10" deep mattress with 2" to spare, plenty soft after initial washing....and no, not wrinkly (and who cares, they're cotton and cotton wrinkles...does that make it hard to sleep if in your mind you know you're sleeping on wrinkles)? Slept like a dog last night, and so did my dog. Good so far, we'll see how they hold up. And who cares if they're made in India...I doubt any bed sheets are made in the USA.

Good quality
Size: King
Color: 26 - Baby Blue
These are quality sheets at a very reasonable price. I laundered them using warm water and dried on a medium setting. They came out with very few wrinkles and no shrinkage. They are soft and so comfortable and fit the 14” mattress perfectly. I purchased the baby blue and am now considering purchasing another set in another color.

Combed cotton but NOT sateen - great for the price
Size: Twin XL
Color: 23 - Vintage Rose Print
I rated these sheets at a 3 because they are NOT sateen. Sateen feels like a high quality silk. This is combed cotton. If I wanted combed cotton then I would have ordered combed cotton. Yes this matters. Sateen has a slippery feel. I’m currently washing these sheets to remove the chemical that makes it feel like starch. Modern day buyers grew up with polyester and write reviews as if they know the different types of cotton. I have sewn like with a sewing machine for at least 50 years. I know fabric. Are these sheets good? For cheap sheets, yes they are good. Is the color the same as in the marketing photo, my camera photo makes them look brighter than they are. In person they look pastel. Do they stretch? No. Do they resist stain? Once washed, no. Do they have deep pockets? Pockets are okay but not what I call deep. Are these sheets worth buying? If you’re looking for the luxurious sleek feel of sateen, no. If you like rough cotton sheets at a great value, yes! If the description removes the sateen label and just writes “combed cotton” then I’ll edit the stars. Why? Combed cotton can be used to make sateen. It’s a one direction process. Sateen is not satin. It’s not polyester. It is the most beautiful and luxurious of the cotton textiles. Because of the tighter weaving, sateen is warmer than other cotton weaves. Sateen is smooth and silky. These sheets are rough. Cotton is the protection around tiny seeds of cotton. The seeds are removed and used for other purposes. The fluffy cotton washed and given different treatments and then is twisted and turned into thread. Different cotton treatments have different prices. Sateen fibers is the same cotton that has been soaked in a chemical called lye which is a base kinda like bleach is a base. Then the treated fibers are soaked in acid. This is important because the acid neutralizes the base the way people who use lye relaxer to straighten curly hair must use an “neutralizer” to cancel the the effect of the lye. Sateen accepts dyes better and the colors are brilliant even when natural organic colors are used. Dyed sateen has a shine. It’s not polyester like many people think. The process gives it the shine. So that’s what I thought I was buying - sateen. Y'all can write all day long to combat this review but this is not sateen. Somebody failed if they were trying to make sateen. Combed cotton which is what the label says it is has more durability than regular cotton. If it is indeed combed cotton, then it’s worth more than the price here because combed cotton is more durable than than sateen. So think it’s a great price for the set but it’s not sateen. No way is this sateen. Someone may have tried to make sateen and failed. It’s a nice set of sheets and I would recommend them to friends and family and might buy more sets but with the full knowledge that it’s not sateen. Combed cotton is used to make sateen. The full process must be completed to have sateen. What to do with a failed process? Sell it cheap on Amazon. This sheet set may be exactly the sleep experience that some people want. Before sleeping on these sheets, be sure to wash them first to remove the coating of sizing - like a starch found on almost all sheets when new out of the package. I just don’t take chances and wash them first. Remember - sateen is not rough at all. If a cotton fabric is rough and dull then it’s not sateen. In a world where plastic is used to trick people into thinking they are wearing cotton and real silk, I’m unsure if this review helps any decide if they will or will not buy. I just want people to get what they were advertised. It’s a great buy for what you get, but it’s not sateen.

Not what I expected but great sheets nonetheless
Size: King
Color: 20 - Butter
I received this sheet set today and, although the color is exactly what I wanted, when I went to wash them I was immediately disappointed because I prefer the crispness of percale weave and these have an obvious sateen weave. I was fully prepared to write a negative or at least a neutral review thinking they had been misrepresented because I always purchase percale but once I read the description I realized I bought the wrong sheet set and, other than the fact that they’re not my preferred texture they’re actually lovely sheets. The color is definitely a soft butter yellow just as described and their softness is almost indescribable. They just might change my opinion on sateen weave. I can’t speak to anything else really since I’ve yet to put them on my bed but I’ll try to remember to come back and edit my review once I have.

I HIGHLY recommend these sheets. They are the softest cotton, they're inexpensive and from the U.S. I will be buying more in different colors. I'm so so happy to find these. I am not in to the polyester fake material. I want COTTON and these are it!!

BUTTER
Size: King
Color: 20 - Butter
These sheets look really nice/good quality and the delivery was quick BUT…slap my buns and call me basted my friends because “butter” is LITERALLY the color of butter. They couldn’t make a color more butter-esq than these butter sheets. I don’t even think butter butter matches up to these butter sheets. If I were in the desert fighting for my life and saw a marriage of my king sized mattress covered in these sheets I would think I had found the mother of all butter sticks. Don’t get it twisted..the color shown is not the color you get. You 100% get BUTTER. I don’t believe they’ll last long because my big back booty be eating in the bed..but I guess I’ll keep them. Carry on.

Not bad
Size: King
Color: 19 - Beige (Warm Taupe)
Ordered these for a rental unit we were staying in as their sheets were awful. These are not much better. All cotton but scratchy and no sateen feel or look. The color is very bleh but ordered the tan/beige so not much excitement there. Deep pockets. Wash well overall, not bad for the price. Just wasn't what I was hoping for
