This summer is hot, and sadly my bedroom is hotter. I read a review about these from a website, and the reviews here seemed promising. When I got them they were amazing to touch. So silky and soft. I washed them according to the directions and everything magical about them went away. Yes, they were more silky than regular cotton sheets, but only a fraction of what they were prewash. I hoped that they would stay cool. They do absorb the cool from the fan, but it doesn't last long. Add to it that the pillow cases barely fit my standard size pillows and I'm just really disappointed. I would spend my entire retirement on these sheets. I would sell my kidney for these sheets. Don’t be deceived right out the box because they don’t seem super soft at first. Give them an ol wash ‘n’ dry and you’ll literally be questioning if you’ve ever slept good a day in your life. They are soft and cool. My kid who hates blankets can’t stop rubbing them on his legs. Outstanding. Show stopping. Don’t waste your money elsewhere. I’d make clothes out of them if I had the motivation. Bury me in these sheets. ... show more

They are actually a bit cool. And soft like silk. But starting to frail at the bottom of the top sheet after one washing and a couple days of use. With these hot days, I immediately noticed a difference when I climbed into bed - with the cotton sheets, it felt like my bed had been in the sun all day, but with these bamboo sheets, it was cool and didn’t feel warm at all. Originally as a cozy sheet set for our Airbnb villa in Mexico, we loved them so much we replaced our $150-$200 home sheet sets. In addition I've had friends staying with me that added them to their homes as well. Great price.
