These sheets fit well and secure over our 14” memory foam mattress and a 2” mattress pad. The elastic is Heavy Duty and feels super strong. We have purchased sheets from many places and have spent a lot of money on them. These sheets, so far, have the more expensive ones beat-at least for us. They are crisp and feel cool to the touch, and we sleep well on them. They do wrinkle a bit, but they are such good sheets that a few wrinkles will not keep us from purchasing them. The top sheet is generously sized, and the fitted sheets fit and stay put due to the rubber around the corners. They are durable and only get more comfortable over time. Over the years, I have spent thousands of dollars on my search for the perfect sheet. I have purchased both cheap and expensive. I am a fan of 100% cotton and typically go for a nice percale. But, for the price, I gave these a go. I am so happy I did. I have purchased everything from Liz Claiborne sheets at JC Penny to Boll and Branch and everything in between. The quality of Liz Claiborne sheets went down majorly a few years ago. My Boll and Branch sheets, Brooklinen. and Parachute sheets ripped after only a few months each. Wamsutta used to have some great sheets. When I saw these on sale for $99, I decided to purchase. I know many people feel that is expensive but I do not at all. I get teased by my peers for spending "so much" on sheets. Listen, you should spend roughly 1/3 of your life in bed. I want that time to be great. I try to explain to people to put it in perspective. Most people I know spend more on wine, eating out, or whatever in a month. To me, it's worth it to go to bed in comfort vs a weekend of fun, but I guess I am getting old :) All that being said, these sheets are wonderful so far! I like them more than any other sheet I have tried in the last 20 years. I wanted to have them for a time before reviewing them. They are thick and I have been using them since I received them. I wash them weekly. Sometimes twice a week. They have softened up even more since purchasing. They fit on my bed nicely. I have a deep mattress. The top sheet is generous and I can tuck it in all the way around the bed. I liked them so much that I went back and purchased the duvet cover. They are cotton, so of course they will wrinkle. Anybody that is upset that 100% cotton sheets wrinkle, should just buy microfiber I guess, because that is going to happen no matter what with 100% cotton sheets. My better half also likes them a lot and he never brings up sheets because before me he just bought sandpaper sheets from Walmart. I feel the price is more than fair for the quality. If you have doubts, reach out to the company, and ask for a sample. They sent other sample sheets with my purchase, so maybe they can send you some. I understand that people look for so many different things when purchasing sheets and we all are looking for a great sheet. When I first opened the package I thought I made a mistake, they felt kind of rough. I had read so many reviews that I thought just wash them and then decide. I washed them twice in hot water the same day before putting them on. When I slipped into them it was amazing! The fitted sheet was deep enough for my mattress and the top sheet was plenty long and wide enough. I really dislike thin polyester sheets, these are not that. They felt so much softer than out of the box and I know they will get softer each wash. Love, love, love them! ... show more

I went on an exhaustive search for 100% cotton sheets that weren't percale. I found these and am very happy. I like sheets that feel strong but not stiff. I like that the fitted sheet has elastic all the way around since I have an adjustable base on my bed. These stay on even though I'm a restless sleeper with a 100 lb dog in bed with me. 1000 thread count delivers a heavy sheet, Queen right at 7 pounds of cotton. We love the heavy feel of the weight of the top sheet on us. I've gone through many cheap sheets and I think I've in total spent more money replacing those cheap sheets with more cheap sheets than if I'd just bought this from the start. The quality is perfect. These remind me of the seemingly magic, mythical bed sheets my grandma had for decades without them wearing out, when I would have to be replacing my bed sheets once a year. You get what you pay for.
