I have been on a “perfect sheets” quest. I want them soft and smooth and cuddly but wrinkle free. I originally started to return these sheets because when I squeezed a section they wrinkled slightly. But I was so tired of sending sheets back that didn’t meet my expectations that I decided to give them a try. It was like staying in the finest hotel. They were luxurious and soft and just envelop you with comfort. My only complaint was they are very oversized for a queen and the pillow cases are very large also but that’s a small price to pay for these wonderful sheets.

Years ago, I purchased organic cotton sheets from California Design Den, and I was thrilled with them! When we needed to replace them, back I came to the same company. THESE sheets are so perfect in every way, I’m here to order another set of the same. They are smooth and crisp sheets with a heavy cotton, satin weave (talking SOFT) feel. My husband has recently begun having nights of restless sleep, but I washed and made up our king size bed with these amazing sheets as soon as they arrived a week ago, and every morning, he wakes up and says he didn’t wake up once during the night! His sleep statistics are proving that, too! I’m pretty happy for him! What I love, other than comfortable sleep, is how the bottom sheet has this amazing, rubberized elastic all around that clings to the underside of the mattress making the sheet fit smoothly without any slippage from the time I make the bed to the time I remove the sheets for washing. The top sheet is large enough to make up the bed with the top of the hem all the way at the top of the mattress…a big deal for big and tall people like my husband! Also, it’s wide enough to completely cover the sides of the mattress and box spring. No fighting over the coverage. They wash beautifully, and while there’s the expected wrinkles due to the high cotton fabric content, the wrinkles are not annoying once the bed is made. They seem to be strong sheets, so I expect they’ll last even longer than our many years ago purchase has. I’m happy I found these fabulous sheets, and I highly recommend them! I was unsure about the reviews on these sheets, people saying they're almost as thick as a canvas tarp, but what made me try it are the reports of the wrinkles. People need to stop looking for cotton sheets and then complaining about wrinkles. If it doesn't wrinkle, then it is not 100% cotton. You WANT wrinkly sheets. Just put them on the bed, you will smooth the wrinkles out in a day or two just by sleeping on them. The thing that sold me on these sheets was the GENEROUS SIZE. The fitted sheet is elasticized all the way around, which is so convenient, and they cover the entire deep mattress and stay put very well. There is even an top and bottom indicator on the tag. But the TOP SHEET IS EVERY HOUSEWIFE'S DREAM! It covers me and my husband completely, and hangs over several extra inches on both sides. No more fighting over it! They ARE super thick, and yes, they are stiff, (not rough, but stiff due to how thick they are) because egyptian cotton is a denser weave than standard cotton, so if you want 1000tc, they will obviously be stiffer than standard cotton. I bleached the hell out of these along with a strong, harsh laundry detergent like Tide, with expensive liquid fabric softener, AND dryer sheets every 5 days for 3 weeks, and the stiffness is softening very nicely. The cotton has obviously been preshrunk, I am not experiencing shrinkage in the hot dryer. I anticipate them being well broken in reasonably soon, and I hope the thickness will make them last longer than my last sheets. Using the European Rule of 3 for linens (One on the bed, one in the closet, one in the laundry), should help rotate them well and make them last. They were worth buying, my husband likes them, not that he knows the difference between good and bad sheets, and if they last a reasonably long time, I expect that I will buy them again.

I have bought 2 sets of these sheets. One set is holding up, the other set had the corner seam of the fitted sheet tear after 3.5 years. The material is heavy and smooth. You can feel the quality of the thread count. They're not as soft as some sheets I've had, but they are comfortable. Basically good sheets, -1 star because I expected both sets to make it 4-5 years each.

"This sheet set is far heavier than any sheet set that I’ve ever bought. There is a massive amount of cotton woven into these sheets." "Best sheets I have owned." What I just quoted are from reviews already on Amazon. And these quotes really sum-up what I had to say. They are "far heavier" but "soft in an unusual way" -- that reviewer was dead accurate. Taking them out of the box made me doubt my purchase because I felt they were too "crisp" and that I wouldn't like them. I was very wrong. They seemed crisp only because they are very thick and folded tight to fit in the box. I bought two pairs because I was taking them out of the USA -- which by the way, is a feat in itself as these boxes of sheets are HEAVY. Another reviewer said 6.6 pounds, and although I didn't weigh them, I believe his estimation. I have owned higher thread count sheets before. I have paid substantially more for sheets as well. Yet this set far surpasses anything I have owned in my life. They just "feel good". If Amazon shipped them out of the country, I would buy more sets and store them for the future. "thick and comfortable" - "Warm and soft" - "but also breathable and cooling". When you read that reviewer's statement, you wonder how those words can be in the same sentence and be written about the same pair of sheets. But the description is 100% accurate and until you experience it for yourself, you are doubtful. I have never wanted to talk about sheets as much as with this purchase. They really are that good. And finally PRICE -- Do you think $100 is a high price for sheets? Take a walk through your local WM store and see that their "fancy" sheets are $60-90. Touch them. They don't compare and will never compare. For $100, these sheets should be a featured bargain on Amazon. They really are that good. "Best sheets I have owned." I gave them a five-star rating. Because there was no 6-star. June 2025: 2 years later. I still love them. I want more for other beds but they don't ship out of the USA where I am based. IMO, still the best sheets I have ever purchased. I don't know why they get so much hate on Amazon. Lol

No question about it, this sheet set is high quality cotton. I bought two complete King sets, one in white, the other in light gray. They LOOK absolutely tip-top. I was very surprised at the sheer weight of them when they arrived in the box. It took some effort to get them out of the box. In my arms, the set seemed to weight 5 lbs or more? I prewashed them, then tried the white set on for a night. Uh-OH. They felt like lead sheets on us. Granted, we live in the tropics - so what was I thinking? I was hoping they'd be more pliable and lightweight like modal? But these are sheets meant to last BEYOND a lifetime. I highly doubt they'd ever wear out in any way. However, they were just too hot, stiff and inflexible all night long. I washed them again before returning, and they simply NEVER get dry in my Samsung dryer - even when it's set to the "HEAVY LOAD" which I ran twice. They'd get all rolled up in a tight tube in the dryer, and be quite damp when I pulled them apart. I ended up hanging them over the railings at home and they were finally dry by the next morning. These sheets may be fine for colder climates or even hotels where you NEVER want to replace sheets? But for the average homeowner, I think they are overkill. I'm glad I didn't get rid of my modal sheet sets (also purchased here at Amazon), cuz they are right back on the bed as I peck this out.

Love these sheets! I have recently gotten the ivory, and loved them so much I got the rose. Both are a beautiful color, very heavy quality, so nice to sleep in. I’ve had a couple sets of the their 600 thread count sheets for a few years and have always liked them, good quality, never had a seam or hem unravel, etc. These seem to be same quality, with the higher quality cotton fabric. I think they will last much longer. We tend to wear out the fitted sheet fabric first, I wanted to also get a plain white fitted sheet to use with old sets that we’ve worn out the bottom sheet. I got another brand’s 1000 thread count. Not even close to the quality of these. The washing machine test is these are way heavier and tahe up more space in the machine, the other brand 1000 count sheet is more like the 600 count sheets in this brand, and doesn’t have such a smooth texture.
