Not for people that like light sheets these are heavy. when the package arrived I was surprised about the weight . the pillow cases are large enough the end of your pillow doesn't hang out. Well done. I washed them twice in hot water before using and they have elastic band all the way around to stay in place and i have a 17 inch mattress.

Okay, people have very different, and strong, preferences about sheets, which is absolutely okay. So it helps to know, these are NOT soft, cuddly sheets. They do not wrap you up in softness. They are cotton, so they wrinkle. BUT, if you like a sheet with some weight, heft, and substance to it, these deliver. Much heavier than percale, but still with some crispness. You can turn over in the night without the sheet wrapping and tangling around you. For hot sleepers, they are breathable. For winter, they are thick. These are good quality, well made, fit a thick mattress. They do get softer over time. I am thrilled with this purchase and bought another set. They feel like luxury sheets to me. Highly recommend, IF this is the type of sheet you like.

I have been looking for a great quality cotton sheet and have now found them!! These sheets are thick and crisp. They aren't hot to sleep under and they're so soft. I've waited to write a review until I washed these sheets. I've now washed them 4 times and they haven't shrunk or frayed. They do somewhat wrinkle after drying, but, if you pull them directly from the dyer and place them back on your bed while they're still warm, it seems to help work out the wrinkles very well. I will be ordering more!

Update: loved them so much I bought a second set!! I’m kind of a linen snob. I love luxurious sheets, all cotton blankets and quilts, etc. Hubby bought me a set of $220+ dollar sheets for Christmas. Don’t tell him, but the ones he bought don’t even come close to this 1000 thread count all cotton set off of Amazon. We spend a lot of our life in bed and I want it to be cool, comfortable, and luxurious. These 1000 TC cotton linens are the most expensive sheets I’ve purchased at $120, but they did not disappoint. The material feels rich, soft, even silky, and is nice and thick. The sheets have a bit of sheen. The pockets fit my king bed well and it had two toppers on it as well as a mattress pad. The stitching appears even and well done. Sheets washed up well, although they did wrinkle some, but that does not bother me. I’ve had microfiber that did not wrinkle but the sheets were hot and miserable so I only used them once prior to washing and donating. These will be my go-to sheets for the foreseeable future. I hope they last a long time. I might give some sets as Christmas gifts. Love them.

Queen sized 1000 thread count. VERY heavy tightly woven sheets. They are soft in an unusual sort of way and while soft they are not supple and they don’t drape well. In the summer I will sleep under one sheet and I will have large gaps where the top sheet does not touch my skin because it needs the weight of a blanket to force it to do so. This creates cold spots. They are not stiff, just so tightly woven and thick they resist draping against all the contours of my body. I have a thinner top sheet that I like more for summer. It drapes well and hugs every part of my body, even following me in the bed as I move. With the extra weight of a blanket the lack of drape is a non issue. The fitted sheet is a delight to have against my skin. I find it comforting. Very smooth. I like having a tightly woven thicker sheet between me and my mattress. It adds a subtle layer of protection. While I like the fitted sheet its fit on my mattress is not completely uniform. It's close but off a little. This sheet set is far heavier than any sheet set that I’ve ever bought. There is a massive amount of cotton woven into these sheets and the set completely fills up my washing machine. The picture is of the lint ball that came out of my dryer lint screen after the first wash. Best first wash performance of any sheet set ever. They wash well with moderate wrinkles that work their way out in a day or so. I would buy them again. 3/2024. 9 month update. After 9 months of once a week washing in hot water they are wearing well and feel great. The fitted sheet is a little too tight. I have pretty good upper body and hand strength and it’s a battle to get this fitted sheet on, it just barely fits my 16” mattress. I’d still by it again but the for the elderly or someone with limited hand strength it would be very difficult for them to stretch the corners of the fitted sheet over a 16” mattress. May 2024 update: 11 months in and the seams on one of the fitted corners failed. I've never had a fitted seam failure in my life. The fit quality is below average (below Walmart). I would not buy them again. January 2025 update. 19 months in and all 4 corners of the fitted sheet are failing. The seams are holding but the fabric is tearing. I am a single 160 pound man with no pets and I'm gentle on sheets. Worst fitted sheet performance in my life.

Wow, these are beautiful! Bought the Sage and the White. I expect they’ll last a long time! Saw a review that said he or she put a cup of bleach in their washer with these. Good grief, that’ll ruin them fast. It’ll weaken the fabric and they’ll start tearing in places. Never use bleach, just a liquid detergent, preferably a clear kind of soap. I buy a specialty that has a light lavender fragrance. Goes lovely with these beautiful sheets. Treat them right, and they’ll last. They’re quality sheets, worth every penny, and more!
